This is what Depression looks like.
Tomorrow is
Since the end of May it’s been really hard to find anything to smile about.
I know that might sound weird but I just don’t have it in me to find ways to smile, the one thing that I love to do is recording podcasts but even the ups & downs of that hurts at times. But I am grateful for my mom, my family, my friends & the friendship I made via the podcast world for everything they do to help me out.
I’d love to do this podcast full time & be able to do the amazing things we do as a team.
2022 wasn’t the best year. There was a lot of pain & heartbreak. I lost someone who meant a lot to me, I got bullied at a job I loved because I stood up for Injustice in the workplace & I got forced to leave that job because I reported what wasn’t right.
2023 has started better but those tough days are still there.
I am leaning on God & I will keep asking him for help as I get through this tough stretch in my life. If it wasn’t for God I’d be gone by now.
Depression sucks, not feeling yourself sucks & mental health is real.
I’ve thought of killing myself many times since May.
In my life I’ve always loved to help others, be there for everyone in my life & make everyone happy.
But today is the first day in my life where it’s time I take care of myself.
This is me opening the conversation & I hope others can do the same so we can all have “More Good Days” going forward in life.

A moment & memories that will last a lifetime for my Niece Jai & my Nephew Kieran as they got to meet James Duthie, Cheryl Pounder, Jeff “O-Dog” O’Neill & Bob “Bobfather” McKenzie tonight at the World Juniors.
It was so awesome to bring them to their first World Junior game.
TSN has been very helpful with our 2 Mutts Podcast & the crew was really awesome to the kids.
O-Dog was so excited to see these t-shirts, everyone had a great laugh.

I am grateful for the amazing people in my life who help me, support me, love me, care for me & show me Grace along with Mercy every single day of my life.
I love God, he’s been so great to me during this really tough time in my life.
I won’t lie these last 2 months of my life haven’t been that great, someone I really cared for & loved left me. That pain still hurts today, it may hurt for a few more months longer & that sadness may not leave anytime soon but what gets me through everyday is the hope. The hope of the amazing people I have in my life.
It’s what they call a Buddhist gift or the Ultimate Christian Gift.
The thing that matters are others way beyond yourself.
Self goes away. Ego bye bye.
You realize there are a lot of amazing people out there to be grateful for.
And a loving God. And….other than that good luck.
That’s what life is about.

RIP Daryl ❤️🙏🏼
Today we lost a great one.
Daryl was known as DR to those in the Ball Hockey Community & he had a big heart for everyone he met in his life. He gave everyone the opportunity to succeed when it came to running a hockey team. He saw value in us all & his upbeat positive attitude made a big difference in our lives.
2005 the Edmonton Thugs went on a great run in Calgary at during the Western Ball Hockey Tournament, you gave me a chance to play with my brothers & the Thugs family.
The heart you have for others was truly a special thing, you taught me a lot. Thank you so much for everything you did for me, my brothers & the entire Ball Hockey Community.
Thank you for all the great memories & pushing me to do the 2 Mutts Podcast, you were a huge fan.

Little Baby Bosco has a new home.
This lady Catherine really wanted him when I picked Bosco up, with everything going on in her life it was important for her to get a puppy.
She fights heavy anxiety, she wanted a service dog. Now she has one. ❤️🙏🏼
Life for myself hasn’t been that great over the past 2 weeks, I thought getting this puppy was the right thing & it was because it’s going to help someone out in a very beautiful way.
Today I was able to donate this beautiful puppy to a great home, pay it forward in life. It’s the first time in 2 weeks since I smiled. More good days are ahead & today is the start of great things for everyone involved.
I love you all.

Anyone that knows me knows that hockey has given me everything I have in my life, the friendship I’ve made has always tied it back to the game I love & care about. It’s my happy & safe place in life. The game of hockey is full of humble, caring & kind people who love to give back.
That’s what life should be about.
Last Friday night I got to enjoy a great win with an amazing new friend of mine in & I can’t wait to enjoy some playoff hockey with you Natasha.
