Organize the Preschooler’s palace with me 🤪
Nothing brings me more joy than having a clean space and this one right here.. is always torn up.
B does help me clean other spaces, but his room isn’t normally as organized.
I’m on the hunt for a better way to do it, but this is where we are right now! Any tips and tricks to organization are always welcomed!
#AD In: Non-traditional Easter Baskets that bring months of fun Out: Easter Baskets that just become clutter. This year we decided to skip out on the traditional Easter basket that is full of junk and truthfully it just becomes clutter to our space after. Instead we’re looking ahead and hopeful for the sunny Florida weather—being that we live on the Gulf Coast and it gets HOT in the summer months, there’s nothing better than to cool down with a snow cone. The @hawaiianshavedice machine was the PERFECT gift to add to “basket,” along with all the goodies to go with. 🍧To make a similar basket you’ll need: -“Basket” (Rolling beach toy wagon) -Hawaiian Shaved Ice Machine -Your favorite flavors of Hawaiian Shaved Ice Snow Cone Syrup -Paper Cones -Snow Cone/ Scoop Straws -Syrup pour spouts -Beach sand molds, tools, & toys -Beach blanket/ towel -Sunnies -Any other summer favorites 🌸Head to the link in my bio & use code AUBREYLOBRIEN for 10% off of your order through March 31st🌸What would you add to a summer themed Easter Basket? #HawaiianShavedIceEaster #HSIPartner
✨ In my fixing what my landlord won’t era ✨
Truthfully this was a pretty easy renter-friendly DIY to fix these BUSTED blinds that have probably been here since I graduated from high school. If you sneeze too hard near them, one pops off. I’m telling ya, they’re junk.
It’s just a rental and we plan on moving in the fall, so I’m not super interested in replacing them myself or spending the money or time to do something that benefits our landlord. Sorry not sorry.
This kit and roll of cling film was maybe $15 total on Amazon and I think it’ll do the trick while we’re here! They had a ton of patterns and designs to choose from. I really like the privacy it gives us while we still get the natural light coming in during the day. The blade/ cutter in the kit was not the best, but it still did the job most of the time. Kid scissors also worked great for the little bits that needed snipped 😂
You would think that after all the wood working we did with our business that I would learn to write down a measurement or as Colin says “measure twice, cut once.” …yea no I was just free Willying it like the silly goose I am.
By the end, I did need about 10 more inches of film, but honestly I don’t hate the half panels at the bottom. The dogs love to sit in the window and watch the birds, and who am I to stop them. Plus Fern is the president of the neighborhood watch, so 🤷🏻♀️ In Fern we trust.
Take this DIY with a grain of salt, you may or may not want to listen to my home improvement advice, but if you’re still reading— thanks for being here 🫶🏻
If you would have told me a year ago that we would move 13 hours from the city we’ve called home for the last 20 years… I would have LAUGHED OUT LOUD.
Relocating to the Emerald Coast of Florida has had its challenges of course, but it has been so lovely to explore. From crystal clear blue water and white sand to the wild life of freshwater springs, we’re loving taking in all the sights and sounds.
FL peeps— what places should we add to our must do bucket list??
Wanna know the secret to having a clean house 24/7?? Ha. Let’s laugh together. But truthfully I have a simple schedule that can help you manage the “mess” in your house! As a mom, I noticed that I’m less patient and significantly more overwhelmed when there’s a ton of clutter around me. So I’ve come up with a quick and easy routine that helps the house stay in order— even with a preschooler and 2 dogs.
