The most part of this year was filled with uncertainty, mixed feelings of fear and panic for some, resentment and anger for others. People getting sick, people losing jobs, going out of business and the artists among us struggle to share their art. What once was an overwhelming flow of music, beats, sets concerts, festivals, clubnights,... is now reduced to the bare bone.
!!!!!BUT!!!!!
In the midst of all this madness and chaos a newborn has arrived. A newborn that, in the wake of all the things that make it as hard as posible to get music out there that deserves and needs to be out there, will make sure that the few outlets that remain will be used as hard and as much as possible. and in order to do that we gave life to a new label.
A new label that will be an expansion of the Ithica family, representing his own identity, personality and art.

The obscur story:
At first there was Ithica records, a techno label that strives to bring forward quality techno through a fine selection of artists and tracks that embody the Ithica records identity.
Out all that quality, pounding kicks and razor-sharp synths, out of all that work, commitment and talent we brought forward music that we’re proud of, music that carries ithica records’s signature.
However, whilst staying true to what we bring forward since Ithica Records was created, we witnessed artists using harder, deeper elements to create a whole new universe, a darker deeper universe, an OBSCUR universe. And in that darkness a birth took place. A newborn that will continue to bring the same quality and values as its ancestor but in a harder, darker way. Born from the shadows, triumphing in darkness we present, ITHICA OBSCUR.
