The life story of Dinesh Karthik(DK) is not only impressive but motivating too.

DK was the Tamil Nadu (TN) cricket team captain and played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Team in the IPL.
He made his test debut in 2004 before MS Dhoni (MSD) and was the second-best wicketkeeper in the Indian cricket team after MSD.
One of his Ranji teammates, Murali Vijay (MV), who played with him in domestic cricket, was having an affair with his wife, Nikita Vanjara (NV).
She was DK's childhood friend.
In 2012, the TN team was playing a crucial Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Karnataka, and during this match, DK came to know about his wife's affair with MV, which led to their divorce.
DK also learned that NV was pregnant with MV's child while the divorce procedure was on.
They divorced, and NV moved in with MV. While this incident utterly shattered DK. He went into a deep depression, became an old monk, and his performance declined in all game formats. He stopped going to the gym and took a long break from the nets leading to DK's elimination from the Indian cricket team.
Abhishek Nayar (AN), DK's friend and mentor, found him in a complete mess. He, along with others, insisted DK restart ground training, and AN was also able to get him back to the gym where he was training Dipika Pallikal (DP; Indian national squash player).
Shocked to see him in a sorry state, she started counselling and supporting him along with AN, and slowly and steadily, DK began to come back to normal in terms of both game and mental health.
MV married NV, but a few years later started failing and was first dropped from the Indian team and later from the CSK team. Meanwhile, AN, DP and others encouraged DK to restart vigorous net practice, which led to DK scoring heavily in the domestic matches and slammed 704 runs in 14 innings with an average of 50 plus in 2017.
He got selected in the squad for the Champions Trophy in England after a successful domestic tournament while playing for TN. He married DP in 2015.
Rishabh Pant replaced DK after DK played a few matches for India post-MSD's retirement. During IPL 2020 season, he was dropped as KKR captain in between the tournament owing to his poor performance.
In 2021 DK & DP were blessed with twins. She also stopped playing post-pregnancy. DK always dreamed of owning a big and luxurious house, and it finally came true when he moved into his new apartment along with DP, with legend Rajnikanth as their neighbor.
RCB bought DK for ₹5.5 crores at the IPL mega auction in 2022 and became the second wicketkeeper ever in the history of the IPL to complete 150 dismissals after MSD.
DP came back into the international circuit, helping India win historical titles in women's doubles and mixed doubles in Glasgow's World Doubles Squash Champions 2022.
DK still desires to play for the Indian team in the T20 World Cup later this year.
