But Eli of Blue Collar Cafe in Niceville has just that sort of humility about him. Although he went to culinary school and has worked his entire adult life in the food industry, he still places himself at the table with any one of his customers, a regular Joe making a regular paycheck; thus the name Blue Collar Cafe.

Cheers to the Dads! This Father’s Day, mix up this simple yet timeless cocktail to toast the special dad in your life!

Classic Old Fashioned
· 1 teaspoon sugar
· 3 dashes Angostura bitters
· 1 teaspoon water
· 2 ounces bourbon (or rye whiskey, if preferred)
· Garnish: orange twist

1. Add the sugar and bitters into a mixing glass, then add the water, and stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved.
2. Fill the mixing glass with ice, add the bourbon, and stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
4. Express the oil of an orange twist over the glass, then drop into the glass to garnish.

This delicious Blackberry Margarita recipe from our friends at is a must have this summer!

- 2 shots Corrido Blanco Tequila
- 1 shot Blackberry syrup, store-bought or homemade
- 1 shot triple sec
- 1 ½ oz fresh Lime juice
- Black Salt for Rim

- Combine Tequila, blackberry syrup, Triple Sec, and lime juice in to a shaker cup.
- Shake well until very cold.
- Pour in to an old fashioned cocktail glass with ice.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and dried lime wheel.
