While everyone else in prison was getting tattoos of skulls and naked girls and gang symbolism, I decided I wanted film.

It’s been my passion since I was 12 and I wasn’t going to give that up to that place.

I was explaining my vision for the filmstrip with the filigree to my tattoo artist. He didn’t understand so I found an example…

The filigree on the filmstrip is inspired by the toilet paper wrapper we had in prison.😂😂😂

I also made my own ink. I burnt a candle of hair wax, collected the soot and mixed it with a cap of mouthwash and a cap of shampoo. And for prison ink, mine is dark af.

But its not finished yet. I plan to put scenes from my life in the filmstrip and by the time I check out, I hope to have the movie of my life down my sleeve.

In 1978, this building obtained its “Historic” designation from the National Register of Historic Places. It was dubbed the “most outstanding Spanish Colonial Revival building in Arizona” with its “elegant blue-tiled dome” recorded as the most prominent feature. Rightfully so, as this iconic mosaic dome has become one of the most recognized structures in the region, including the official Pima County logo.

Check out the brand story video we created with Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona.

The inspiration: Lord of War opening, where we watch (first person POV) the life cycle of a bullet and the process involved. They came to me with this idea, and I was soo stoked!

*Wire removal*

San Xavier Mission is old. Like really old - founded in 1692 by father Kino🤯
Understandably, it has some wires holding it together. Unfortunately it cuts across the shot like a Starbucks cup in an hbo medieval fantasy epic. So we removed it. From each shot that it was visable. Like magic! No. More like some intensive key framing ( and multiple chains of ‘simple wire removal’ due to the way the chord sagged). And bam! Like magic, the chord disappears.
