According to Oluwatoyin Ibitoye, a former media of the Super Eagles, the NFF cannot afford to pay new Super Eagles coach George less than 30,000,000 monthly.

"Former coaches we have were paid $48,000... Another came and it was $70,000. So Finidi can be paid between 30-40,000,000 monthly."

Serie A club Lazio is keen on adding 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder Oluwafisayo Dele-Bashiru to their squad next summer.

The young player, who has previously earned a cap for the Super Eagles in a victory against Mozambique, has impressed with six goals and three assists in his debut season for Turkish side Hatayspor.

Victor Osimhen says moving to Belgian club Sporting Charleroi was the turning point of his career.

“Yes, I remember the key moment is when I signed for Charleroi in Belgium,” Osimhen was quoted by Tutto Napoli .

“I highlight this transfer because before, when I moved to Wolfsburg, I really wanted to start playing obviously, but I also wanted to learn because I moved as a young striker and I needed time to transform into the player and man I wanted to become.
“At that time, I was able to play with great players like Draxler, Schurrle, Guilavogui, Mario Gomez also came, for me it was an opportunity to learn a thing or two from some of the greatest strikers of that period and so for me it was really a turning point for my career, even if things didn’t go so well.

🚨🇳🇬Meet The Super Eagles Player Who Became The First-Ever Nigerian Coach To Lead A European Team To A League Title

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ndubuisi Egbo is the first Nigerian and African coach to win a league title in Europe by leading KF Tirana to victory in the Albanian top division in 2020.

Under his guidance, the team also earned a spot in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

The former Super Eagles player was born on July 25, 1973 in the commercial city of Aba.

Egbo played as a goalkeeper during his professional career.

Egbo began his professional football career in Nigeria with NITEL Vasco Enugu, NEPA Lagos and Julius Berger before moving to Europe.

He also played in South Africa for Moroka Swallows and El-Masry in the Egyptian Premier League.

In Europe, Egbo played for Tirana and Bylis Ballsh in the Kategoria Superiore.

Notably, Egbo won three trophies while playing for Tirana.

Egbo made 12 appearances for Nigeria. He was a member of the Nigeria squad at the 2000 and 2002 African Cup of Nations.

In 2011, the versatile goalkeeper retired from professional football and ventured into a coaching role.

He started his managerial career as a goalkeeper trainer with Bylis. He subsequently took the role as a manager in 2013.

In 2014, He joined Tirana as a goalkeeper trainer. Egbo subsequently took the role as a manager in 2019. He led the team to victory by winning the 2019/2020 Albanian League title.

He is currently the manager of Kosovo Super league club Prishtina.
