It’s gonna be a good one next week. Playing “Golden Era” R ‘n’ B from the 2000’.
Lots of blends, remixes, a few Dj tricks here and there too. All on vinyl turntables no CD decks.
I’ll be rocking the 1210’s with special guest Chippie
Music is outside from 3pm and then at 8 moving inside where we are going to get the dancing going with artists like TLC, 50 Cent, Q-Tip, Usher, Busta, Maria, Beyoncé, TLC, Sean Paul and more.
So put on your Jimmy Choos, get on your Gucci and Valentino’s and head down to the Admiral in Bracknell next Saturday.

Over the course of 2 weeks, 15 Brolic Army DJ School students will get the chance to honor the memory of by showcasing their beat juggling prowess with his classic "Unassisted" routine. The challenge officially begins Sunday, May 1st at 12 p.m. (EST) and will run through May 16th. The top 3 students will be announced on Roc Raida's birthday, May 17th!
Make sure to follow the IG page for daily updates on the competition standings!

Brolic Army DJ Battle - Semi Final 2021
My Battle in the semi-Finals of the Brolic Army Civil War DJ Battle. I hope you like it. Full respect to Tito Dantana. You beat me this time, so go on and win the Final. Hopefully we meet again in a battle, and I’ll get my revenge😉 Thanks to DJ Rob Swift for putting this battle on too. As well as all the advice and help he gave me during this competition. Even calling me from the US to let me know I was knocked out and what I need to improve on.

Judges scores in for my DJ Routine for the Brolic Army Civil War Battle For Supremecy. As a battle DJ, the music you choose to work with really help us forge our own individual identities behind the turntables. I'm speaking from experience. I was never the fastest, flashiest or most technical DJ but my catalogue of battle routines always featured songs no one else was using. This is one of the things that really stands out for me in this preliminary set courtesy of DJ Backbeat. He picked a song I'm sure no one was thinking about flipping for this competition. That said, the style of music you choose to work with can also push the direction of your ideas. The complex rhythms you hear in Backbeat's juggles is evident of that! Overall Score: 68.5 Judge: Jay-ef Technicality: 8 Presentation: 8 Originality: 8 I liked this routine a lot. Cuts and juggles both well done and interesting. Total Score: 24 Judge: Tuug Technicality: 8 Presentation: 7.5 Originality: 8 Really smooth intro and even peeped the set was on vinyl which in my opinion is pretty tedious and it definitely deserves respect! Loved the song choice and the juggles were executed as cleanly as possible. Total Score: 23.5 Judge: Ginsu D Technicality: 7 Presentation: 7 Originality: 7 Total Score: 21 Tip: Not too much to say here, Good technique, different music selection, and scratches were on point. Kudos for not using AHHHH to scratch with!
