Anyone remember this post?
This is a post from last year. I first saw this from the Vegan group I am in and I even commented that I am willing to adopt this dog.
This dog was spotted outside the eatery in Dasmariñas. The post went viral. The day after it circulated on Facebook, I went immediately to the location. It was my first time to stepped into Dasmariñas. All I want was to adopt the dog because I do not want him to go hungry and beg for food. So I decided to rescue and adopt him.
Unfortunately, when I reached the area in the morning, the staff of the eatery told me a private van took the dog and that a guy and girl loaded the dog inside the vehicle. I even verified if they were from the pound or a rescuer perhaps, but the staff told me that the two did not even ask anyone there and just took the dog and went away. I even had my FB Live at that time.
Half an hour had passed, I received a message. Telling me if I am interested to take the dog I have to contact the people on the list she provided and negotiate with them because the dog is with them. They rescued the dog. Maybe they were thinking that I am just an adopter and not a rescuer. That time, I am shy to show my identity. I just said if the dog was rescued and in good hands, I am happy with that. Why should I pay anyone, wherein I was there to do the rescue myself?
The people on the list are some of the well-known advocates in AW and sad to say those have some issues when it comes to scamming. They did not know that time maybe they were dealing with Aspin Academy. Half an hour had passed, I received a message. Until now, I haven't heard any updates about this dog that I even named "Rancho" because that's the name of the eatery he was spotted on. The dog was a stray. I am clueless on his whereabouts now.
I just hope he'd already found his home.
If anyone has the information about him, please let the netizens know. Let me know.
I don't know but Rancho already touched my heart.
I wish to even touch him,
if that,
he is still alive.
