This week we're kicking off the season 6 premiere of TMD Collectors Corner with one of Jon's biggest guilty pleasure movies of all time, National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets. I don't think there's anyone else out there in this world that loves National Treasure as much as Jon does, but what do the other dudes think of this silly little Disney film? Only one way to find out and that's by listening to this episode. Click play. Please? No? Okay.

Our Best Films of 2022 podcast episode is now available wherever you get your podcasts! Just in time for Oscar Nominations day. We recorded this before the announcement so there’s lots of Oscar speculation sprinkled throughout the discussion. Some actually came true and others were total long shots, but overall 2022 was a phenomenal year for movies. Give the episode a listen, and let us know what your favorite films of 2022 were!

Happy Holidays from us at TMD! This week we're back to Spencer's collection and he decided to go with an unorthodox Christmas movie and that is the 1st Lethal Weapon (1987). What makes this a Christmas movie you might ask? Well that's a great goddamn question that we try to answer. Plus, this is a film that the other dudes had never seen before! How do think he'll handle such a cinematic buddy cop treat that is Lethal Weapon? Only one way to find out and that's by listening to this episode. Click play. Please? No? Okay.

This week Nate chose the best picture winner where Dustin Hoffman decides to sleep with a married woman after graduating from college. Can somebody say marital drama? Jon even decided to pick up the criterion despite it not staring Hailee Steinfeld. Does this classic stand the test of time?

This weeks film: The Graduate (1967).

If you have seen The Graduate what did you think of it?

This week we checked out the the film where Ben Stiller carry’s a brief through multiple countries trying to find Sean Penn and maybe finds himself along the way. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013). Does this film get better on a rewatch almost 10 years later? Only one way to find out! Listen to the full episode with the link in our bio.

When I found out Jon had never seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind it became an instant pick for the podcast. It’s one of those films that get better and better each time you watch it because you can pick up on hidden details or things you missed before. It’s a brilliantly unique romance film and its the first time in 4K! Click the link in our bio to hear the discussion and find out if this was a hit or miss for Jon!

I totally forgot I even bought this one. Can’t wait to revisit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to swim in the chocolate river and steal an everlasting gobstopper. I might even punch Charlie Bucket in the face while I’m at it.
Does this film deserve its own episode on the pod?

Jon’s final pickups for Black Friday 2022. Physical media is dead for the most part, but Amazon and Best Buy made up for the lack of deals elsewhere. Can’t wait to leave these movies wrapped on a shelf collecting dust for the next 6 months.

Big blue strikes again. These are some of the best deals I have seen in all my years of hoarding physical media. Do yourself a favor and swipe some of these up before you miss out.

My only question is where do you draw the line when it comes to upgrading films you already own on blu-ray? That shiny new black case that says 4K is awfully tempting.

We watched and discussed True Romance on the podcast last week make sure you check it out! This was a first time watch for 2 of the dudes and one of them (it was Jon) had no idea Quentin Tarantino wrote it! It’s a ridiculously fun 90s action film with an insanely cool cast ensemble, and it’s quite possibly the most Tarantino film there is and he didn’t even direct it. TRIANGLE OF SADNESS (2022)
DIR. RUBEN ÖSTLUND
Just saw this Palme d' Or winner over Halloween weekend, and it was quite a rollercoaster ride to say the least. A unique look at the upper class and seeing how fast the glitz and glammer can spiral out of control.

There were some scenes in this movie that I will never forget for as long as I live. Pretty good performances all across the board, and it was refreshing seeing a group of rich people have to work together and survive in some horrible circumstances. Definitely give this one a shot, and I will checking out more work from

It’s another spooky week on Collectors Corner and since we're back to Jon's Blu-Ray collection he decided to go with M. Night Shyamalan's The Visit! Was this a return to form for M. Night after that dry spell? Some will say so, and some think he should still be in directors jail which is a damn shame. For the first time in a while Best Buy came through with some good deals and somewhat full shelves of inventory. The age of physical media is dying in mainstream stores, but I’ll take what I can get. Anything with Mia Goth in full HD is a welcome addition to my collection and we all know Captain Jack Sparrow deserves the 4K treatment.

This week we're back to Nate's picks and take a wild guess what he picked?! That's right! Another goddamn Criterion Blu-Ray. This week it's 12 Angry Men (1957). A film Nate and Spence had seen once before but a film Jon had never seen. Considering he's Mainstream Boy and only enjoys films/TV with Hailee Steinfeld, how do you think he'll do with such an old black & white intellectual film? The answer is quite well actually because he's a smart fella and you should give him more credit than that. Listen to the discussion and find out our thoughts on this classic!

photo to let you guys know we have a full discussion of Knowing on the podcast feed. Nicolas Cage doesn’t
deserve to be forgotten about and we apologize to the Cage gods. It’s a few episodes back but check it out
because Nate had never seen this before and for some reason it’s one of Jon’s favorite films of all time. That
may be an exaggeration, but you be the judge.

The Boyz came to town for a visit and a full podcast should come out to explain everything that went down. Jon broke my 4K TV with a Smart Water bottle, Nate had around 6 Blu-Rays stolen out of his car and he’s currently going full True Detective to find who’s responsible, and to cope with the loss he’s already re-bought everything. Nobody can ever questions this man’s dedication to physical media. Our podcast on Chaplin (1992) comes out tomorrow and possibly a re-cap of what went down this week to follow… stay tuned to the podcast feed and thanks for listening!
