1) No question would be asked regarding the source of income source for people who will be investing in real estate until June 20.
2) The government has introduced the fixed tax regime for builders and developers.
3) Taxes will be calculated on the basis of construction per square foot and the development of land per square yard for builders and developers.
4) Tax rates will be reduced by 90% in the case of low-cost houses or projects developed under the Naya Pakistan Housing.
5) Builders and developers do not need to withhold taxes on the purchase of construction equipment other than cement and steel.
6) Sales tax on construction services in KPK and Punjab will be reduced to 2%.
7) Capital Gains will not be taxed on the sale of the house by the family.
8) Subsidy of PKR 30 billion will be given for Naya Pakistan housing scheme
9) The construction sector has an industry status.
10) A board for construction Industry Development would be established.

So today I will tell you some basic facts that we tend to overlook while looking to invest. My suggestion is always look for a commercial property in the form of shops or offices because:
1. It is a ready property at an ideal location and the developer has already met all the requirements to sell you their property. The way I look at it, all the donkey work has already been done for you.
2. Once you own a shop you can easily put it on rent with a security deposit. Security deposit helps you insure any sort of property damages, if any, made by your tenant. Also
the rent starts your monthly income of a certain amount. Basically, if you look at it, your shop is being furnished by the tenant with his own money and the same person will spend money on advertising to attract customer and in turn increasing value of your property.
3. Later on if you decide to start your own business, you can use your own property and save your rental expense from day one. Did you know that 70% business fail because they are unable to afford rent in the start of their business? So, no rental expense is a good way to start your own business. This way you are a stress-free business man and can focus on business development more.
Lastly, I would like to say that a lot of people try and argue that in commercial property we don’t own a land. Which is true but that’s the risk you need to take and most importantly this risk that you give weightage of 100% in your decision making has in reality only 1 percent chance of happening. You are losing 99% of the opportunity. My tip to you guys is that invest in commercial property for long term because only then you will be able to make big gains.
