The pressures of being a mother to a baby can be overwhelming at the least. Taking care of their every need, being ready for every cry, waking at every hour.

But then, you have those moments, those sweet tender moments when you feel, you know what it's all about. How you are their whole world! You are their light, love and life and all the p**p, p*e and tears are 100% worth it!

Are you a 90's kid who grew up fighting over which kid got to go with dad to "take your daughter to work day"?! Then it switched to "take your child to work day" then there was a fight on!

My parents were always so accommodating and made something happen for us. I remember my mom talking up what it would be like to stay home with her for work and while laundry and paying the bills wasn't any kind of fun, we got to watch daytime tv while we folded and had a really fun lunch.

We live in the county with NO recycling so we have to take matters into our own hands. We compost and burn so that we can do our part to lessen our footprint.

Today is an Australian holiday My husband and his family are Australian. This day feels more memorable because this year we lost my father-in-law, my husband lost his dad, my children lost their grandfather. We are still deeply mourning the loss of this beloved man.
A man who served in the military, loved God and country, the most patriotic person I know! A day like today is a great day to honor and remember him. And honor and remember all those that have gone on before us to gift us our freedoms.
