Please remember to look. 2 women looks like she was too involved in her conversation with her mate to even look right from where I was coming. I was going at a reasonable speed for her to even see me before she got to the island. If anyone knows who this is give her the video so she can educate herself on how to drive. A person has died on the tracks at Railway Station. Trains between New Street and Birmingham International stations were suspended as the emergency services dealt with the tragedy.

Crews were called to Marston Green just after 11.10am to reports of a casualty on the tracks. The victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

British Transport Police confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious and a file was being prepared for the coroners' service.

BTP said: “Officers were called to Marston Green railway station at around 11.12am today (1 August) following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.

Fire services from Tamworth and Staffordshire are in attendance

 A huge inferno has broken out in Birmingham this afternoon, with the fire service declaring a 'significant' incident and people urged to avoid the area.

🚨 12 fire engines, three 4x4 brigade response vehicles and a hydraulic platform are in attendance at the scene in Erdington.

🚨 Videos posted on social media show a thick plumes of smoke which can be seen from as far as Birmingham Airport.

🚨 Roads are closed and onlookers have described a 'wall of smoke'.
