*** Fatal crash, Aston ***

| We are investigating after a fatal crash in last night.

In Great Hampton Street, shortly after 11pm, an Audi A5 and a Nissan Qashqai collided.

Sadly, the woman passenger in the Nissan died from her injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was treated for minor injuries and the driver and passenger of the Audi were both taken to hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the Audi has been arrested.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with dash cam footage or other information can contact us via Live Chat or 101 quoting log 5099 of 2 August.

KITTS GREEN FIRE.

All emergency services have now gone but will come back for investigation at a later point when deemed safe to do so. For now it will be boarded up. The nature of the incident is still unclear and if anyone was inside is currently unknown.
