We often hear the story of Noah summarized including a mention of the peer-pressure that Noah endured as he built the ark, like a lunatic, following God's word with no reason to believe it. The problem? None of that's in there... I went ahead and read the whole Noah narrative so that you could hear for yourself what God wanted emphasized (primarily through repetition) as opposed to the cultural reading of, "Noah stood up to peer pressure by faith, and you can too!" Additionally, I walk through some basic hermeneutics and how to avoid this sort of a problem.

We often hear the story of Noah including the peer-pressure he endured, like a lunatic, following God's word anyway. The problem? None of that's in there!
