Have you heard of The Bunker? Located just outside of Lockhart, this all-analog recording studio is the home base for Bruce Robison and his label The Next Waltz. Working with Texas heavyweights like Jerry Jeff Walker, Shakey Graves, and Charley Crocket, the approach is back to basics: “We record in a way that’s never been bested: 2-inch tape, 16-track recording, all-analog reverbs, and the greatest musicians on the planet in a room playing together.”
