Listening to Cal-Fire or Redding Fire on the scanner is the primary source. However, there are links below you can find useful.

A really good primary source to use if you do not own a scanner. Keep in mind that the audio you hear here is slightly delayed due to internet lag!

Windy - A good tool to see wind direction and speed. It is a good way to see what direction a Fire may be getting pushed... Keep in mind, the wind direction towards canyons can flip a fire all over, so not a 100% definitive predictor!
