I personally think there’s nothing more refreshing than a nice cup of tea! I usually have plain old English breakfast tea with a little milk, but I also enjoy herbal tea especially peppermint tea! 🍃

Apart from being a refreshing drink, did you know that peppermint tea is so good for your gut health, especially if you suffer from IBS, Crohns or Colitis?

In fact drinking peppermint tea brings a wealth of health benefits. 🥰

Did you also know that many experts believe that the immune system begins in the gut so it’s worth having good bacteria making their home there!

Peppermint tea is also amazing for reflux! It’s often drunk at the end of a meal to assist with digestion. 🍽️

I try my best when it comes to using less plastic or non recyclable products and take steps daily to ensure I am being as conscious as I can to learn of new ways to protect our planet.

So many products are packaged in plastic or several layers of cardboard. The global cosmetics industry alone generates over 120 billion units of packaging each year!!

One of the very many reasons I love Acti-Labs is just how environmentally conscious they are as a company! They have recently repackaged products into recycled glass containers and introduced a brand new ‘Eco Refill System’ which allows containers to be used over & over again. How fabulous is that??😍

In fact all products created by Acti-Labs and the packaging it comes in, is from our eco-sustainable centre and are fully recyclable!

We’re also the only brand that tests all of it’s rinseable products for both biodegradability and toxicology. To put it simply, if it goes down the plug-hole; we’ve had it tested to make sure it’s biodegradable and not damaging to our Eco system. 🐟

Are our products Biodegradable?

We care about you and your health which is why all of our topical products are dermatologically tested and clinically proven. This is of course not unique to Acti-Labs but as far as we are aware we are the only brand which test's all of its rinseable products for both biodegradability and toxicology.

If its going to go down your plug hole we want to know its safe on the environment and that's why we send our products to be tested so that we can be sure that it is biodegradable without damage to the Ecosystem. 💦 🌊 🐟 🌎

It's so easy to put the needs of others before ourselves but if you fall so does everything else that you support.

We may feel we are invincible but the reality is we all need to take the time to recharge our batteries before they run flat.

So why not set aside a little time to do something just for you each day? Maybe a walk in the fresh air...a face pack or a bubble bath 🛀
Taking care and spending time on yourself isn't selfish, it's an investment in the health of your body and mind. 😍

Time invested in you is never wasted, it will improve your life and ultimately improve the lives of those around you. 😉
