15 years today?!?! 15 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s crazy to believe that I’ve been hustling to stay one step ahead for so long!! Out foxing a disease that is this relentless, isn’t a small task. It takes a lot. Like…A LOT, A LOT. It’s cost me time, energy, relationships, money, countless sleepless nights, physical strength, research hours, even my job. It fu***ng bonkers!! I am nowhere near the person I was when this started. BUT!!! I’m not mad at it. I’ve learned a lot, I’m thankful, I still laugh easily, I am loved and love my people just as hard. In other words, I’m pretty ok with what the universe has handed me. Lord knows I’m stubborn enough to handle it! Cheers to you and me, from the chemo chair…of course! ♥️

Another day…another appointment. Active surveillance is a wonderful thing. You’d rather know something is funky than not right?? Make sure you get yourself to these important appointments when something feels wrong AND when things feel right. The worry never really goes away, but luckily there are plenty of resources to help with that part. Happy Thursday y’all! 🩷🩷🩷

EDIT: CT scan is good. Some teeny tiny tumor shrinkage, but nothing major. Which a million times better than growth! So I’m obviously pretty happy!! Cheers, party people! I appreciate all the good energy you send my way! ♥️

Never miss the opportunity to have a little fun! It’s a recurring theme we abide by. Jodi and I had a girls trip last weekend with several of our favorite friends. It was everything my soul needed. We even got to dance!!! And while not all of our favorites were there, we had an absolute blast.
Now it’s chemo time and I’m grateful to be receiving it. My tumor markers are down…THREE WEEKS IN A ROW!!!! 💪
