The picture shows Georg Filius, a 19-year-old sergeant's DFS-230 glyder, trying to get flour on the 4th of February 1945 to Hungarian and German comrades enclosed in the siege. By this time, there was only a runway on the Vérmező, where the wreckage of the successful sailing machines, usually damaged, was pushed aside on the edge of the blood field. In the evening, the orientation of the shipments arriving in the evening consisted of a 14-16 year old young children's cactons, who suffered bloody losses as they stood on both sides of the blood field with a flashlight and other combustible materials to light the pilots. During the siege, 32 out of the 73 DFS-230s that started to miss the deployment did not reach Budapest. The 41 incoming machines also broke out as these machines are already designed to break down. Their pilots were volunteers aged 16-18 by the NSFK (National Socialist Air Association). It is interesting to note that these young guys were involved in the outbreak, and four have been proven to reach our own lines until 16 February 1945.
Sergeant Georg Filius did not crash into the roof structure of Attila út 35 in the Vérmező, but on the side towards the Horváth Garden, which is already on the other side of tunnel street. The reason for this was the disturbance of the Soviet air defense, as they were already dominated by the Blood Field side of Krisztina Boulevard, making it even easier to fire the machines trying to land. The impact was actually beheaded Georg Filius guard. His glider was only removed in August 1945, so he could take so many photos of him that became one of the symbols of the besieged Budapest.

WW2 Pillbox Hide Out
🇬🇧 British Empire
🇲🇹 Maltese People
Type: Military Pillbox
Condition: In Ruins
Open to the Public: Yes
Built: 1939
In Use: 1539-1980’s
Wars: World War 2 (1939-1945)
Materials: Concrete & Rebar
Location: Mgarr, Malta
Malta has so much history awaiting to be found. From its beautiful historical old cities across the scenic and wonderful escapes away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. We find something interesting worth capturing and documenting our findings each time. To explore Malta, one would always find something magnificent and worth taking a second look. For the love of History and to respect the sheer effort some of these places under went to construct in times when machinery did not exist.
Lay scattered around Malta the British Empire constructed small but effective military pillboxes. These were supposed to protect servicemen and women if Malta was to be taken by ground forces or enemy invasion. These were rugged house like buildings. Able to withstand the most brutal of attacks from small arms to take direct hits of passing bombings from the skies.
Yes, there were a lot constructed around the Maltese Island’s, now to confirm a figure we would estimate at least over the one hundred mark as we located many to this number but don’t hold us to a correct figure as the British left these structures under Top Secret records, if the enemy knew their exact location, well the enemy would zero them in for artillery / air raid fire.
This particular one was unique, so not a boring looking pillbox in state of decay. No, this one was very hard to locate and was found after we found it by chance off the beaten trail track in Mgarr, Malta. At some point it had been converted into a home / farm of some degree. The pillbox a two-story design and lookout post at the top, now in complete abandonment we can see a total neglect and disrepair of the site. Livestock consumed the location, and the interior was enclosed with wire. Nature has taken back over the site and we left the location in how we found it and we expect people do the same.

Chechen fighters working with Russia to take control of Mariupol from the Azov Battalion show an ounce of competence as they conduct an actual rocket drill in what appears to be genuine combat footage.

It's a rare occurrence, but this video actually appears to be legitimate combat footage coming out of the TikTok Battalion for a change. They're still filming in portrait mode, which is an atrocity in and of itself, but we won't fault them too much because this video actually appears genuine. There is incoming and outgoing fire present which is one key indicator, and the guy firing the RPG doesn't hangout in the open taunting an invisible enemy which is a second key indicator that this is genuine combat footage.

We haven't seen much in terms of genuine combat footage coming out of these guys, but we'll hand it to them this time. This is a passable rocket drill performed under incoming fire, and is likely actual combat footage from Mariupol.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IIRGC) claimed responsibility for the 12 ballistic missiles that targeted Kurdistan's capital city of Erbil in northern Iraq.

The Iranian military stated they were targeting an Israeli “strategic center, ” but the missiles also managed to damage an unoccupied US Consulate building that is currently under construction. American officials claimed no US personnel were hurt in the attack. The Iranians were reportedly carrying out retribution strikes as Israel killed two IIRGC soldiers in the previous days.

The missiles were likely Fatah-110 short range, solid-fuel, guided ballistic missiles, the same weapon type used by Iran against US forces in the January 8, 2020 missile attack of the US military bases in Iraq, which resulted in several wounded US soldiers. The missiles were reportedly fired from Iran's Khordo Factory, an IIRGC missile base west of Tabriz.

American mainstream media has been nearly silent on the Iranian attack, likely trying to save face for Biden's recently reported consideration of oil deals with Iran as well as Biden's desire to rekindle Obama's deal to allow Iran to develop nuclear technology.

Footage recorded in Aleppo today shows Syrian Rebels slamming a Syrian Arab Army position with an SPG-9 recoilless rifle. This is your reminder that there's more than one conflict happening.

We've been heavy on the Ukraine coverage for the last week, and rightfully so. It's a fresh conflict between two uniformed militaries on the European continent which has the potential to go nuclear should Russia choose to make that decision. That said, there's an entire other conflict that's been happening on-going for eleven years, and the footage above was recorded there just today.

Russia is also a key player in this conflict, they have been heavily supporting the Syrian Arab Army for the past few years, and I think it's going to be interesting to see how the situation plays out for the SAA now that they have less and less Russian support behind their troops on the ground. Before Russia initially got involved, the SAA was handily losing territory, and this video is evidence that the FSA is once again mounting regular attacks and attempting to put the SAA on the backfoot.

Thermobaric rocket in Yemen.
This video was recorded on February 5th. - A thermobaric weapon is a type of explosive that uses oxygen from the surrounding air to produce an intensely high-temperature explosion, and in practice the blast waves typically generated by such weapons have a much longer duration than those generated by conventional weapons. viscous explosive. Air and fuel pumps are among the most well-known types of thermobaric weapons.

Awesome footage taken with a GoPro of tanks doing their thing during a massive training exercise. The M1A1 is one of the greatest war machines ever created.

We're not going to do a long post description here. This is just some straight up tank for you guys to enjoy. There's no combat happening, everything is on a controlled and safe range. The tanks order of movement is pre-decided before the tanks ever step off onto the range, and it's more of an exercise for the crews to improve on their abilities as warfighters.

Russian KA-52 Alligator Shot Down By Ukraine

The Ukrainian military has shot down a Russian KA-52 attack helicopter, and the event may be the first ever combat loss of a KA-52.

Based on the visible damage, there aircraft appears to have been hit with a MANPADS type weapon which explodes just before making impact and pelts the target with crippling shrapnel. The crew was able to make an emergency landing, which is a testament to this helicopters durability, as most of the videos we have seen regarding air defense kills of helicopters result in a more catastrophic result.

Footage captured by a Ukrainian Soldier earlier in the day shows an SPG-9 team shelling distant targets with guidance from a forward observer.

For the purpose of Ukrainian Operational Security, we won't be posting the location of this engagement. What we do know is that the footage was released shortly before our last website outage, and it appears to have been recorded early on in the day. The interesting thing to note in this video is the use of what appears to be HE rounds, which have an extended range when compared to the standard-issue SPG-9 rounds. This would also explain the higher-than-normal angle of fire being used by the Ukrainian troops, and the utilization of what sounds like a forward observer.

We're aware of the on-going issues with our site back-end. We're not entirely positive what the cause of the issue is yet. For our own protection, we've increased our site security. You may get notifications from Cloudflare, but we're hoping this will dramatically decrease some of the suspicious activity we've been seeing on our backend.

The US Navy released footage showing the USS Gerald Ford undergoing a shock test about 100 miles off the coast of Florida on Jun. 18, 2021, and the blast reportedly measured as a 3.9 magnitude earthquake according to a geological survey.

The Navy carried out the Full Ship Shock Trials (FSST) to ensure the battle-worthiness of the ship while using a number of sensors to understand where shock resiliency can be improved. With literally thousands of rooms, decks, berthings, and passageways, the crew had to be thorough and meticulous in their preparation for the blast.

Members of the First Coastal Division utilize an American CIA supplied TOW missile to absolutely smash a Syrian Arab Army vehicle depot in Western Syria.

The First Coastal Division was a group of Free Syrian Army fighters that was endorsed and supplied BGM-71 TOW missile systems by the American CIA. The way that their operation worked was pretty awesome, but it also sparked an epidemic of ATGM systems being used by terror groups throughout the region.

Because the First Coastal Division was not comprised of any extremist fighters initially, they were able to obtain supplies to fight back against the Syrian Arab Army from the American CIA. To get their TOW missile systems, they had to record each strike, and show evidence and accountability for every missile. Basically, they fire one missile, prove that the missile was against a legitimate military target to the CIA, and they get a new missile to replace it. Rinse and repeat ad-infinitum.

The problem with this however was the simple fact that these strikes circulated the internet like wildfire. Especially throughout the Middle East, where people were paying much closer attention to the combat footage that was happening directly in their own backyard. Extremist groups saw the effectiveness of these ATGM systems, and started picking up any kind of ATGM system they could get off of black markets in their area. Instead of the Singer Effect toppling the Syrian Regime, instead we saw the BGM-71 TOW Effect take place.

Now, because of the success of the First Coastal Division and the proliferation of their videos being spread throughout extremist factions in the Middle East, every terrorist organization in the world has essentially replaced the Sniper Rifle and Mortar Tube with surplus Chinese and Soviet era ATGM systems.

Members of an Iraqi explosive ordinance disposal team learn that flying shrapnel from a large explosion is always closer than it appears. This is why standoff distance is important.

The Iraqi Army should have more experience with explosive ordinance disposal than any other military in the entire world. They live in a country that has been plagued with su***de bombers, improvised explosive devices, and car bombs for the better part of two decades now. Even still, some lessons you can only learn through practical application, and this video is evidence of that.

Normally, when you are doing a controlled detonation, the EOD technician who set up the explosives does a bunch of math to find out what the safe standoff distance is. That information is then usually relayed to all of the troops in the nearby area, along with a countdown telling them the exact second the controlled detonation will happen. Apparently none of that happened here, and the controlled detonation was a big surprise to everyone involved.

Members of a joint task force comprised of Special Operations, Infantry Soldiers, and Afghan Commandos roll up on an IS-K compound in the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

This video kicks off like something out of an action movie, and it doesn't let up for the duration. Imagine being the Islamic State fighter watching this group roll up on your position, knowing that there's not a thing in the world you can do to stop them from capturing or killing you in the next fifteen minutes of your life. Mortars and airstrikes are falling all around you, your buddies are being shredded, then you look down the road and see a group of armored vehicles with heavy machine guns rolling right up to your front door with about two dozen door kickers aiming rifles in your general location.

Pure fear is the only emotion I could imagine that guy feeling, which is about all that guy deserves in life anyways. Remember this, it was never the troops on the ground at the tactical level who lost us the war in Afghanistan. It was always going to the fault of politicians and bad General Officers. For contextual purposes, the only thing we know about this footage is that it was recorded in the Nangarhar province during the height of IS-K's strength in Afghanistan.
