The aim of the journal is to provide a high-quality and innovative venue for the open access dissemination of biblical and cognate scholarship from Europe and around the world. The journal will encompass all fields touching on and relevant for the study of both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, early Jewish and Christian studies, from ancient times to reception in the present, as represented

by the remit of the EABS. Thus, studies involving the Near East and Mediterranean worlds in their own right also fall within this scope.

In preparation for our ethics issue, we are having an Ethics of Academic Publishing Session before EABS 2022. It will think critically about our practices and offer some solutions to problems in academic publishings.
It will take place in person in Toulouse and on zoom.

If you're interested in joining this conversation, if you have ideas on how to address some of the issues pertaining to publication in our field (understood broadly), please consider participating. The call for paper is below.
Bonus: the discussion will take place in Toulouse, la ville rose (or on Zoom probably, if you can't make it to Toulouse), before EABS and I think it will be fun and interesting and challenging. And we would love to see you there.
