In preparation for our ethics issue, we are having an Ethics of Academic Publishing Session before EABS 2022. It will think critically about our practices and offer some solutions to problems in academic publishings.
It will take place in person in Toulouse and on zoom.

It is with great sadness we note the passing of the notable HB scholar, Joseph Blenkinsopp. He was well known to his colleagues for his erudite scholarship and kindly company at conferences, including SOTS, EABS, CBA, and SBL. May his memory be a blessing.

If you're interested in joining this conversation, if you have ideas on how to address some of the issues pertaining to publication in our field (understood broadly), please consider participating. The call for paper is below.
Bonus: the discussion will take place in Toulouse, la ville rose (or on Zoom probably, if you can't make it to Toulouse), before EABS and I think it will be fun and interesting and challenging. And we would love to see you there.
