Shoe Palace has recruited Frank Cooke to be creative director. Since leaving Jordan brand in 2018, he has been working freelance to help lift other voices through collaborative projects. He also since has sought to create more of equitable space in the footwear industry. In a Footwear news interview they asked, “During past conversations you’ve had with FN, you’ve said the corporate structure of the footwear industry is difficult to navigate, identifying it as a barrier that exists in expanding opportunities for African Americans. Why did you choose to jump back in the corporate world with Shoe Palace?”

His answer was “Here, I feel like I have a voice. I feel like this is a way to truly talk to the consumer and give them what’s needed. In this economic climate, changes are going to come forth and I think we need to focus on serving the people.”

Without a doubt Frank will have a mark on the footprint that is Shoe Palace, what are your predictions?

Outside of the project, taking shots at multiple artist in the industry. Drake and 21 find themselves in a few lawsuits. One being a sample by KRS group called (Boogie Down Productions) and another lawsuit vogue due to its false issue they curated for publicity.

Rest In Peace, Takeoff. 

Takeoff passed away in Texas bowling alley and pool hall around 2:30 this morning, two other individuals were with him at the time but were privately escorted to the hospital by authorities. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones, this is never easy.

On Monday, Ethan Crumbley answered yes in Oakland county court when asked if he killed each slain victim all identified by name. Since Nov there has been more then 70 shootings across the country.

“We are not aware of any other case anywhere in the country where a mass shooter has been convicted of terrorism on state charges,” Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. “No one has ever been convicted of similar charges under these circumstances, an act of targeted violence like this.”

This could be a step forward in accountability in all aspects in these tragedies in our nation, our hearts go out to those effected in the Oxford High tragedy.

The members of K-pop band BTS will serve their mandatory military duties under South Korean law, their management company said Monday, effectively ending a debate on whether they should be granted exemptions because of their artistic accomplishments. Member Big Hit, did mention they plan on reuniting after their mandatory 5 year enlistment. (Via NY Times) Do you think they should or shouldn’t have to enlist, let us know in the comments!
