बीत गई दीवाली ….
बीत गए ज़जबात,
पर जान न सका कोई …
इन “पटाखों” के सच की बात ।

लाखों पटाखे सुबह रोड पर जले पड़े थे ,
लोगों की “अमीरी” की शान के किस्से भरे पड़े थे ।
किसी ने कहा कि- बीती रात “दो लाख” में आग लगायी ,
और किसी ने कहा कि -ऐसी मद भरी दिवाली पहले कभी न बनायी ।

त्योहारों का महत्व ” पैसों “को आग लगाना नहीं होता ….
अपनी खुशियों के लिए किसी के दर्द से मुँह मोड़ना नहीं होता ,
गर हो सके तो सोचना अगली दिवाली पर दिल से एक बार …
कि क्या इन “पटाखों के सच” को जानकर भी ,हम ऐसे ही दिवाली मनायेंगे हर बार ?

Crackers, crackers everywhere
No place for infants care
Neither our grandparents can sleep
While seeing pollution our earth weeps

We are polluting our air very well
At such a place patient can’t live well
We can find breathing problem everywhere
But our intention, why should “we” care?

Crackers are polluting our earth
And is just mixing it with dirt
No doubt, Diwali is the festival of lights
But don’t you think so first we should make our mind bright

Is doing pollution on earth is our only duty
Or our birth is totally unworthy
We should look into the matter
And have to say no to crackers
