A BIG WIN FOR THE TRUTH

The Isotopes, the official English publication of Rizal National Science High School garnered multiple awards at the recently concluded Schools Division of Rizal's (SDO Rizal) Division Schools Press Conference held on October 2-3, at Binangonan Elementary School.

The top three placers in the individual categories secured their spot as the representative of SDO Rizal on the CALABARZON Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC). The Isotopes' school paper would also advance in the RSPC as one of the Division's entries.

The publication extends its gratitude to the participants, members, school paper adviser, Ms. Ma. Veronica Lee B. Makayan, and school head, Dr. Lyndel R. David for making this triumph possible

THE ISOTOPES FOUGHT FOR THE TRUTH WELL TOLD!

The Isotopes, the official English publication of Rizal National Science High School bagged numerous awards at the recently concluded Binangonan Sub-office Press Conference held on September 18-20, at Binangonan Elementary School.

The students who finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place secured their spot on the Division Schools Press Conference and will be the representative of Binangonan Sub-office.

Classes in Rizal National Science High School are suspended tomorrow, September 2, due to the expected heavy rains from Tropical Depression Enteng.

This is in accordance with the class suspension announced by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the Municipality of Binangonan, Rizal.

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 | Glory, Smiles, and Freedom: RNSHS Under the Buwan ng Wika Craze

Cheers of glory and smiles of freedom painted the Rizal National Science High School communuty. From the fierce exchanging of arguments and the reliving of childhood games, to filling the school with screams of cheers for the faces of each section — the Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal or KAPARIZ club ended August with a bang.

It was a Friday like nothing else: the school was colored with traditional clothing and colors of the Philippine flag, as everyone was encouraged to throw their uniforms aside for the day and wear the souls of true Filipinos. Truly, it was like time traveling back to “Dekada Singkwenta” for the whole day.

Starting the morning with a heated debate, students threw their arguments back and forth in the Baliktaktakang Risayan, with questions that racked both the contestants and audience’s brains about the usage of our ‘Pambansang Wika’ in various aspects.

Striking while the iron was still hot, the culminating event didn’t end there. It continued with its other activities: Laro ng Lahi, Chis Beez, and Dagliang Talumpati — excitement filled all corners of the school simultaneously.

As the clock hit noon, the quadrangle grew even more heated, cheers being rehearsed — everyone tensed as the long-awaited highlight of the event drew closer: LAKAN AT LAKAMBINI. Not only representing their respective sections, but also freedom, the muses and escorts confidently lit up the stage with their creative traditional attires.

The event ended in rains of glory as the Top 5 candidates were chosen, showing everyone the true definition of Beauty and Brains with their insights in the Q&A. Concluding the KAPARIZ club’s closing with golden rays of victory, this is a day that will never be forgotten.

The Isotopes and Ang Aghamanon, the official student publications of Rizal National Science High School, are set to hold the SPCC 2024 on September 4-6, 2024.

The SPCC consists of the following categories:
a) Writing: news, editorial, features, scitech, sports, and copyreading and headline writing.
b) Graphics: photojournalism, editorial cartooning, and layout and page design.
c) Group: Radio broadcasting

Onsite classes and offices are suspended on Rizal National Science High School upon air quality and visibility concerns due to the recent volcanic activity of the Taal Volcano.

Modular distance learning shall be implemented to ensure learning continuity amid this suspension. Students are advised to wait for further announcements from their homeroom teachers.

EARLIER: Three weeks after the official start of School Year 2024 - 2025, Rizal National Science High School held a welcome walk for new Grade 7 and 11 students, embracing them into their new community.

Continuing the established RiScian tradition, the activity filled the quadrangle with warmth, smiles, and laughter as new students paraded and interacted with current and older students.

Tomorrow, August 10, marks the day of the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT), where Grade 12 students will take an exam to earn a slot in one of the most esteemed universities in the Philippines.

Their hard work and dedication have brought them to this moment. Let us wish them the clarity of mind, confidence, and perseverance they need to succeed. May this exam be a stepping stone toward their dreams and aspirations.

Good luck to all the UPCAT takers—your future is within reach! Believe in yourselves, and take this challenge head-on.
