Good morning ladies and gentlemen , greetings from team Gilbert Kayondo ,I am glad that we are still breathing .

I wish to take this opportunity to thank you all for the overwhelming support showed to us during the campaigns and I believe we genuinely won and even our opponent's feared to celebrate the out come of yesterday's results .

It was very absurd that when the division mayor election came up its when we saw the police and the army on the streets to not only to intimidate people but also to push and send away my polling agents so that they can be in position to rig votes which they did .

We fought with the security that was deployed head on , we even clashed with a one , Tumusime CID who blocked our way while at mukonomura polling station giving our agents their appointment letters and the threats of arresting us .

The deputy RDC Mr Bendeeba festus was seen in nyabukara threatening and chasing away my polling agents .

At Nyaburara polling station , my agents were sent packing , chased by the security and my posters were trashed not until people saw it was too much and had to just pluck a poster from some where else and see it replaced .My question is on who is the security supposed to be working for is it for the people or one person attached to them to serve an interest like what happened yesterday ?

The vote rigging that was exercised was beyond reason , kitembe polling station , kabundaire market and Lorry park which fetched more numbers from their usual numbers , for example on the member of Parliament election , in kitumbe polling station Alex Ruhunda got 88 and Akright got 86 , just wondering where a division mayor would get 500votes at the same polling station and the same happened in Kabundire market polling station.

And from all this therefore with the 5000 plus people who stood with me and still believe the win was ours from all corners I am glad to announce that "

I will be coming back as an Independent candidate to the race to challenge the NRM results announced yesterday that were dubious .

ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO MANIPULATE UPCOMING NRM PRIMARY ELECTIONS BY MARGARET MUHANGA

Intelligence coming in from Fort Portal alleges that Margaret Muhanga, aspiring Member of Parliament for Fort Portal North is trying to manipulate upcoming NRM Primaries Elections by;

1. Margaret Muhanga wants the current NRM VOTER REGISTER be manipulated. She wants to make the current register disappear and create a new one which will contain mostly her diehard supporters and perhaps those she has bribed to vote for her

2. Force current registrars out of office and replace them with those that favour her so she can rig upcoming NRM Elections in her favour

3. Take the current registrars to a retreat this weekend for vote rigging training and bribery so they can ensure she wins.
This training will teach registrars how to inform voters that they are not in the register and deny polling agents access to the voters register helped by the security on duty on voting days who will also be bribed to ease the work. These security personnel will be tasked with ensuring complainants are chased away from polling stations as soon as possible. It is also said that polling agents will be bribed such that they do not possess copies of Declaration of Results Forms (DR Forms) after elections

4. To make it worse, it is alleged that Margaret Muhanga is conspiring with Fort Portal City Mayor Aspirant Kasande in this evil act.

All security agencies, NRM Electoral Commission, All NRM Candidates and members, Police, and the general public are thereby informed to be vigilant on this conspiracy that is not only illegal but also dangerous to the development of Fort Portal and Uganda at large
