God has sovereignly ordained, powerfully actualized, & willingly subjected Himself to design a creation where He -a divine being- could interact with finite beings with consideration of creaturely limitations negatively contributing into that relationship for the sake of a greater good. Order is divine, while chaos is creaturely.

As finite beings, man will always have degrees of uncertainties -some higher, some lower- producing chaos within but never overcoming the intelligent order of God, even negatively affecting relationship between God & man. Nevertheless, it is within this limitation and the uncertainties of man that God's more obvious distinctives are revealed that through His revelations, man is still able to operate by faith even in the absence of absolute certainty.

Thus, finite creatures like men will always require the gracious & supernatural intervention of God to overcome his limitations & uncertainties in the interpretation of God's general & special revelations most especially in grasping the spiritual truths of the Gospel that bring about restoration of the glory of God's image in man.

This article defends the concept of corporate election against the criticisms that have been leveled against it, showing that they arise mostly from misunderstanding of the concept. It argues that corporate election is the biblical view of election unto salvation, which means that election unto salv...

Here is an excellent concise summary of the doctrines of conditional election and predestination from the corporate election perpective, which differs from the traditional Arminian view of individual election based on foreseen faith. Both the traditional view and the corporate election view are allo...

A film detailing in four programs the life and ministry of Count Zinzendorf who set aside a life of wealth, politics and privilege to follow God's call.

Once in a while someone comes along who has a profound effect on the course of future history. Count Zinzendorf was one of those remarkable people. Born into nobility in 1700, he put aside a life of wealth, politics and privilege to follow God's call. He established a refugee settlement for persecuted Christians. This remarkable community experienced a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit which led them to a passionate concern for worldwide missions. Under Zinzendorf's leadership they set the stage for the modern missionary movement as we know it today. The four programs: (1) Prophet of the Heart — Follows the young Count during his early years and when he first allowed religious refugees from neighboring Moravia and Bohemia to settle on his lands, leading up to the Moravian Renewal of 1727. (2) Count Without Borders — Profiles their pioneering mission movement that sent missionaries to lands as far apart as Greenland and South Africa. These were the missionaries that would inspire later leaders such as William Carey. (3) New Heart, New World — The controversial Count turns his attention to the American colonies, and especially to the native Americans. The Count himself visits America with much fanfare in 1742 and attempts to organize an ecumenical movement. (4) The Pilgrim Comes Home — Controversy erupts in Germany, and Zinzendorf's movement experiences a period of self-correction. theologians, historians, and modern Moravians from around the world reflect on the impact of Zinzendorf's life and thought.

"David Bercot explains what the kingdom of God is, why it was the theme of Jesus’ and the apostles’ preaching, and what difference it makes in the life of a Christian when we understand the Kingdom of God.

Bercot also discusses some of the laws of the Kingdom. As he explains, man was designed and structured for the Kingdom of God. When we obey the laws of the Kingdom, we are obeying what is best for ourselves. We were made to belong to the Kingdom. At the same time, the Kingdom is the most radical proposal ever made to mankind."

Acts 20:32
And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to 👉build you up and to 👉give you the inheritance 👉among all those who are sanctified.

"The way this was worded, would seem to me that Paul's concern for the believers after his departure, aside from false teachers/teachings from outside & within, is that the believers continue in the faith. And this can only be possible by God's personal activity and the Holy (passed on & written) Scriptures becoming daily spiritual nourishment for the believers. When Paul says "among all those who are sanctified", it gives me a clue that he meant: through this (i.e., God's personal activity, our activity to feed on the Word), we could be strengthened and are able to endure to the end and so finally receive the promised inheritance, since he was clearly talking to Christians (ref. v.17). In fact this idea is found all throughout the history of the early church in the book of Acts, making sure that we DO NOT MISS the truth that this continuing diligent faith is necessary for our 3-tensed salvation.

"Interview with Alberto Rivera. Alberto was convinced that salvation comes from the sacraments of the Roman Catholic institution. But he read in John 20:30 that the scripture was written that we might believe that Jesus is the Christ and that, believing, we might have life through His name. This verse changed Alberto's life and sent him on his journey from Rome to Christ."

I slightly feel bad for the persons who may have experienced any hardship during this sudden turnabout, but I also sincerely feel a sense of relief and thankfulness to God that my prayers are being answered. May God continue to pushback heresies such as Calvinism and those that promote them who have become instruments of disruption and destruction of Christ's church in the Philippines.

Our latest essay is from Joshua Colson. In this essay, Colson reflects on free will and responds to some misunderstandings of what free will means. https://www.helwyssocietyforum.com/confessions-of-a-freed-will-baptist-no-thats-not-a-misspelling/

In the Protestant tradition, a defense for the freedom of the will has historically fallen to the Arminians. As a matter of fact, Arminian Baptists in the United States were given the derogatory name free willers by their Calvinist brethren—the name stuck and became the official, and personally ow...

1 Timothy 6:6-10 & 17-19 NASB
But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. 7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
..17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
