Tidy all living areas. Wash & Put away all dishes (or run the dishwasher) . Clean the counters and sinks. Set your coffee pot for automatic brewing for the morning. Make lunches for the next day. Automakers, set out any clothing/ accessories you will need for you and your family for the next morning.

Probably should be checking things off the to do list like cleaning house and yard work, but instead I'm sitting here listening to the chimes sing in the breeze, the wind rustle the newly leafed branches, chickens singing across the way, and the kids playing on the swing set. A week and a half old! Trying to fly everywhere! We try to handle them a little bit every day but so far they still don't want the attention! Their feathers are coming in! There's 6 in here currently. I think 2 are roo's. Getting 10 more in a couple weeks (have a 2nd brooder ready for them).
