A pastor in Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga County who pleaded guilty to defiling and impregnating his two teenage daughters aged 14 and 16 years has been sentenced to 140 years in jail.

Appearing before Baricho Senior Principal Magistrste Anthony Mwicigi, the offender was slapped with a 70-year jail term for sexually assaulting each of the girls. The court ruled that the sentence will run consecutively, this leaving the man with 140 years behind bars.

A young man from Ossen in Baringo north, namely Aleandria Kibet alias DT.Donald was arraigned in Kabarnet law courts today after defrauding a government official Shs 3million.

The suspect is reported to have been presenting himself as Inspector of Police attached to DCI headquarters.

Appearing before senior principal Paul Biwott,
he denied the charges where he had been charged with defrauding the man by the name Zakayo Chirchir 2.9 million.

He was arrested arrested yesterday as he was going to collect another Shs 300,000 from the complainant.

Baringo north DCI officer asked for court to grant him seven days to complete investigations which was granted by the court.

At least 26 pupils of MCK Kaaga Academy are presently being treated with minor injuries after their school bus overturned at Mwirine area of the Meru-Kaaga bypass.

Eyewitnesses said the bus was ferrying the pupils to school when the accident happened at a sharp corner on the road.

Those who sustained injuries were rushed to the Meru Level 5 Hospital for treatment while others were taken to school for counseling.

Former Kiss FM breakfast show co-host Andrew Kibe has revealed the difficulties he faced after losing his job at Kiss FM. In an interview with a local news outlet, Kibe said that after leaving Kiss, things did not go as he had planned.

Kiss was a big job for him that brought in big money. Once this job and the huge income were gone, Kibe lost his car, some of his friends and house in quick succession.

“2020 ilikuwa imeniokota bruh (The year 2020 was hard one for me), I lost my moti (car), friends, I lost the house I was living in, I was homeless for a moment,” he said.
