I had this thought for a long while.
Notice how at the outset, the first sectors made were "Lawyers" for Leni, "Doctors" for Leni, and other groups that make it seem like the supposed educated demographic are united in support for one candidate.
I told my friend about this months ago that this doesn't sound right for a campaign and will ultimately backfire when you badly need Voter Class D (80% of the votes) to win.
Remember how they want to shoot down "Kalye surveys"? It's not because the methodologies are bad and misleading - they never claimed to poll a fair demographic representation... what does Kalye even mean to these people? They're polling the 80%.
And they're mad that their elitist maka-pobre approach isn't working.
Just to add, some of you know na I have insider knowledge with one political candidate... it's not even the case that service and academic professionals are overwhelmingly in support for Leni. For every 1 professional who declared support for Pink, there are 8 who silently support Red. You'll never see them rally their support in their social media profiles, but maaaan... you'll be surprised to see way more of them in the group chats and private groups.
Whenever you see headlines like "200 Doctors Nationwide Express Support for Leni"... just Google how many physicians there are in the Philippines.
