We're so pleased to reveal release #3: a debut 3-track EP entitled 'Eldon Groove' by the fresh new quintet 'Wakey Wakey'. This one's been in the oven a little while, but a skewer inserted into the centre is finally coming out clean.

Wakey Wakey consists of a rhythm section of Theo Pedley, Jack Insley and Liam Gesoff, fronted by Ned Ashcroft on trumpet and Lily Goldblatt on vocals. The band produces self-penned, groovy-yet-introspective, intelligent pop-tinged jazz, and 'Eldon Groove' is no exception, featuring a trio of profound, articulate, and downright funky tunes.

'Eldon Groove' lands on Friday on all streaming platforms. Get it in the diaries, don't miss the launch, we're buzzing for it x x

Fresh off the back of their London premiere, we're pleased to announce that the much-awaited debut album of the budding experimental jazz outfit ABOUT LIFE, home-grown in the JazzSoc ranks, will land on WEDNESDAY of this week.

Recorded live at The Mad Hatter back in February, the 5-track EP will display a mixture of original music, synthesised mind-altering and About Life's staple blend of jazz, breakbeat, funk, techno and afrobeat.
