Want to do some tabletop roleplaying in the Animal Crossing world? We're playing the one-page Animal Crossing TTRPG online tomorrow night for Caleb's Playtest Playground event!

Let's tell the story of a new island, together!

Sign up here: https://gmcnyc.as.me/?appointmentType=13622725

Playtest Playground is an event where we play games you're unlikely to play anywhere else (and that I haven't played before either!)

We directly support indie game creators, and every ticket purchases a copy of the game (or tips creators for a free one!)

Because it's free, you can also find a copy of the game here:https://samekindofnerdyasme.files.wordpress.com/2017/12/animal-crossing-rpg2.pdf

Our final Language Tableau from last night's Dialect session with Leon!
The Atlas Theater players moonlit as a heist team who peppered their thieves' cant with theatrical terms. In the end, betrayal caused their white whale to elude them. Now it's their rivals, The Lord Chamberlain's Men and their playwright Shakespeare, whose names are preserved within the annals of history.

Our Game Masters work together because they love games, and they want to be part of a community that supports the people who make gaming better.

We don't own anything you create, and we support your voice to help you reach people you may not have reached before.

And while we do all chip in for shared expenses, we don't collect dues, and there's no fee to apply.

Start the conversation and join us today! Follow the link below to get started.

Imagination Belongs to Everyone

Tabletop games are good for us. We believe roleplaying is an extremely powerful tool for regulating emotional health and creating meaningful relationships. And, it’s fun! Sometimes, fun is enough.

Thoughtful, positive storytelling is work. We believe that, in order to preserve best storytelling practices and create communities within the hostile environment of global capitalism, the tellers of these stories must be paid for the value of their time spent preparing for and running these games.

Healthy artists make healthy communities. We believe that supporting artists in this way helps our stories to be fresh, vibrant, and well-crafted -- which, in turn, helps us to build a community that is actively, emotionally, and creatively engaged.

So, Imagination belongs to everyone. We believe as many people as possible should have access to these services, not just those with means. We’re committed to offering training tools to empower friend groups, family units, and communities to create their own spaces for shared storytelling. This includes soliciting donations from those who have the money, but perhaps not the time, to help change the world.
