Sibongile Portia Ngwana, 27, human remains were discovered on an open veld near M10 Road, Bloemfontein, on 4 January 2024.
It is alleged that police arrested two men aged 27 and 33 in connection with the murder. Further investigation led to the discovery of Sibongile's human remains on an open veld near M10 Road. A forensic expert confirmed the remains, but forensic tests still need to be done.
Sibongile was last seen in Bochabela on 26 November 2023, and we supported the family in raising awareness of Sibongile’s disappearance. We prayed for the safe return of our beautiful sister, but a woman’s life was taken again.
Our hearts are broken, and our thoughts are with Sibongile’s family and loved ones. Fly high, Sister.
