Nicole is not only a black female winemaker, but all of her wines are vegan. We’ll be sippin’ some of her Intention Riesling while learning about HERSTORY and carving out a niche by creating vegan wines. Yeah now that’s a sip of wine!🥂

Tasting Note: Semi-sweet, light-body, crisp and refreshing with aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers with flavors of lemon zest and apple blossom.

Tasting Note: This Pinot Noir has hints of smoke and spice that provide some complexity. Slightly dusty tannins and perky acid create an approachable palate with a juicy, structured finish.

Wine Info: 🍷 L’Objet Blanc - 2019 Comstock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting Note: This Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect expression of California's warm climate. This is a crisp, tart and bright wine. Full of tropical fruit and tons of citrus. Great for warm summer afternoons on the sunny side of the street.

Food Pairing Suggestions: This wine pairs well nicely with seafood such as mussels, oysters and other shellfish or a nice light white fish, like sole. It also pairs well with a nice summer salad made with bitter greens such as arugula or kale.

If you want the whole wine tasting experience you should swirl! Agitating wine in the glass increases the surface of contact with the air, and creates little bubbles in the wine. Oxygen reacts with the aromas in the wine, generally making them more pungent, fresher, and fruitier. It allows you to taste with all the senses. And who doesn’t want their senses to be stimulated. 😜

Start out with the basics:
Red Wine: Stemmed wine glass with a wide opening (bowl)
White Wine: Stemmed wine glass with a smaller opening (bowl).

Now we couldn’t forget the bubbly. 🥂

Sparkling Wines: Try a flute. Stemmed wine glass with a narrow opening (bowl)

At Wine, Women & What if we do want to provide you with the real deal, but at the end of the day don’t let the glass stop you. 🤣
