OPEN TO INDUSTRY SESSION!

We have had an overwhelming response to the 2020 CBI Workshop and as such we have decided to open the Day 1 (Sat November 28th) morning session of the workshop to all directors, writers and actors of Adelaide!

This is a special 3.5 hour (9am - 12:30pm approx.) introductory seminar about the Character-based Improvisation Process (CBI) conducted by Dr. Robert Marchand, the foremost expert in this remarkable and exciting way of creating drama.
The session consists of an introductory overview of the CBI Process; the showing of a clip or clips of CBI-style films, a ‘walk-through’ of the process with explanatory audio/visual material and a Q & A session with Rob to conclude.
This seminar examines in detail how films are made using the CBI Process from creating in depth narratives to choosing a ‘base character’ and then developing it with surprising detail to adjusting final performances on set and in performance. It is logical, practical, easy to understand – and easy to apply.
