Another Covid Relief Show at Wolfsong Studio, even if restrictions are less restrictive. You should come. It will be fun.
A LIFER is, among other things, a person who hasn't been able to stop playing music for a long, long time. Not that we'd ever dream of it. Are you a lifer?

there have been many musicians pass through Wolfsong Studio. To record, to jam, to party, to rehearse, to take lessons, to write original music - the space invites it. I invite it. My name is Tod, and I live here. Through the last 20 years the studio has been a godsend and a sanctuary, as well as a living - but I’m retired now, so music has become a priviledge and a joy again. If you’re a Lifer yourself, you may know how it feels when music becomes a job. None of that here now. The job, when we get together to play, is to make music and have fun. Anything that comes out of that is just serendipity. Welcome, not expected. So - to the nut:
I’ve decided to open up the studio, with Lifers Collective Music, to whatever presents itself, and at no charge other than having me involved. To have as much music and as many people in my life as possible, to treat this as a cool thing to do rather than as a business. After all, since I’m retired and the pressure is off, why not build something rewarding? There is income potential with this: I do have a publisher interested in placements for budget productions, and am recording with several artists (to be contnued after the plague) toward that possibility. To be revealed in time.
What I’m most interested in is original music - singer songwriters wanting to collaborate, and/or who want a recording developed (with the aid of the Collective, where needed) in a clubhouse environment. All that’s required is your time and talent, so bring it - I’m all ears. I play bass, guitar, and sing. I record on Pro Tools, and have some samples of my work here https://www.facebook.com/SkyjumperMusic/ and here https://www.reverbnation.com/wolfsongstudio . What a good time involves is just playing - covers, standards, whatever. Blues, Classic Rock, Country, Funk, Reggae - anything with a solid groove, actually. I get in the zone and life makes sense again. A Lifers perspective, no doubt.
Are you - have you been - in it for Life? I’d like to meet you.
