Bear with me. . . . I think I will probably take to re-sharing this post on approximately the 1st of each month for a while. . . .
For those who are not aware of it, I wrote and illustrated a children's bird guide way back in 1976. I tried to get it published back then, but the cost of color printing was more than it is today, and while publishers were encouraging, they all declined to take it on due to the cost. ---- But times, and printing have changed, and I just got a "shipment" of 25 of them, which I am now making available here (and elsewhere!) I am including pictures of the front cover, and a couple of the interior pages as samples. The book presents 30 common US birds, with rhymes and more detailed information about each, plus sections on building a window bird-feeder, and bird houses. Great for parents with young children, those with grand-children, teachers, etc. Hey, and even the adults who read to the kids say they learn from it! So - Enjoy!!! :-)
I am thrilled to say that the first "shipment" of my bird books (from the printer who did a great job!) arrived today. For direct sales, I am going to have to price them at $35 each (they cost me almost that much 🙁 ) --- To mail one, in the US, by "media mail" is $3.45; 2 of them at $4.01; 3 to 5 copies at $5.00.
So, for those who would still like to get one/some, please let me know once again. If you would like to pay by credit card, let me know - I can process cards through my business acct. For payment by check, please make it out to "Terry Gibbon," and send the appropriate total to "EPCo Group, PO Box 2198, Medford, NJ 08055-7198. I will send out your book/s ASAP! Do be sure to include your current address - especially important if it has changed lately! (I have some of you, of course, through our personal holiday letter mailing list, but I know some have changed!)
I am hoping to make this "shareable" so that you can, in fact, share it with your friends and family (but Ashley can tell you that, while I have come a long way, I am not terribly FB savvy, so it may take a try or two!!! 😉 )
