October is also National Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness Month💟. All relationships have the right to be positive,healthy, and free from violence 💜. It’s important to take time and educate ourselves on what abuse can look like in these spaces. The National Domestic Violence Hotline’s website is a great educational and assistance resource. Here at Syracuse U., the Barnes Center is a local resource. While we have provided some contact info, you can find more resources on their website.

Relationships and love should be healthy & safe. 🫶🏼

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗. This month we take the time to show love and support for survivors and those who are currently fighting their battle.

While breast cancer is commonly seen in women, it can also affect men as well. We want to highlight the importance of doing your due diligence by receiving breast exams once a year and doing self-breast exams every month.
