My grandmother, Mama Rose, used to go ALL OUT for the holidays and she passed that on to my Mama, who passed it on to me!

I'm all about being extra and celebrating every little holiday or moment that we can. And I love creating magical memories for my babies.

Have you ever started loving something you used to dread?🤔

When I was a teacher I used to get so sad when they started putting out the back-to-school supplies in the middle of our summer break, but now as a homeschool Mom I'm like bring it on!🎉🎉

We are coming up on the absolute best time of year to get some Homeschool resources for the best prices and I am all about saving some coins!

So I wanted to share some of my favorite spots where I snag some of my best homeschool deals!

1. Ross- I'm obsessed with this store year-round but if you check out their art section you can find some amazing art activities for the school year and some of the best prices on organizers for your school supplies!

2. Zulily- This is my go-to spot for educational games, teaching resources, and supplies. Now the shipping takes a minute but its so worth it for the amount of money you save!

3. Dollar Tree- This is an AMAZING place to find inexpensive workbooks, and reading books for you kiddos! Not to mention they have a ton of teaching resources and organizational supplies!

4. Hobby Lobby- I love finding unique items for our classroom and Hobby Lobby is always full of treasures. So if you have a homeschool room make sure to check it out.

5. And finally Target! The Bullseye Section! Need I say more? It has everything from school supplies to learning resources, teacher aides, and decor. Every year they get new items and they go fast. So make sure you snag them when you see them!

This season of motherhood is just that, a season. And trying to juggle being a wife, mother, friend, plus all of the other things we are we can easily make this season pass in a blur.

Life isn't going to stop unless you hit the pause button.

Give yourself permission to stop and sip your coffee while it's hot.

Skip the laundry and sit on the couch with your babies and snuggle and just look at their faces and little hands and feet.

Close the laptops and curl up with your husband and watch a good movie.

This is just a season, just a chapter in the book of our lives.

Make sure you take the time to stop and breathe and enjoy the life you have worked so hard to create.

Do you know what you want?

I mean like really want.

Not what you think you can get, or what is realistic. But what do you really, really want?

I am still always amazed when I ask my clients this question and they stare at me blankly.

They have been so conditioned to be realistic that the dreamer in them is just a distant memory.

Somewhere around high school, we start telling kids the dreaming phase of life is over and it's time to be realistic. Waking up that dormant dreamer can challenging.

But she is still there, she never left. From time to time you may have even felt the whispers of her presence urging you to dream a little dream and you probably shut her down quickly and reminded yourself of your responsibilities.

So I ask you again, What do you want? If you could create the life of your dreams what would it look like? Without any limits or restrictions.

Now close your eyes and picture it. What are you doing? What are you wearing? Who are you with?
See the joy on your face as you live the life of your dreams.

It's time for you to start dreaming again. It's the first step in creating the life that you want!

It's that simple. Change your thoughts ➡Change Your Actions➡ Change your Life.

Notice I said simple, not easy.

Changing your thoughts and beliefs is one of the most challenging things to do. You're essentially reprogramming your brain.

And it starts with being aware of your thoughts.

If you look at the mirror and think "ugh, I'm so fat" you will then speak the words "I'm so fat" out loud.

You've now identified yourself as a fat person. And your actions will follow. You'll get upset and eat more, because honestly what's the point in even trying.

Or you'll decide to be super hard on yourself and put yourself on a workout and diet plan that's so strict and unrealistic you won't sustain it. Which will then have you back in the mirror thinking those thoughts again.

Does this cycle sound familiar? That's because it's not about the diet or the exercise. It's about the belief system you have programmed into your brain.

The only way to break the cycle is to change your thoughts.

The next time you look in the mirror and that thought pops in your head. "Ugh I'm so fat!" Immediately replace it with

"I'm making healthier choices now"

you will literally feel your energy shift and your mood lighten.

Start there. Start with the first simple step and change your thoughts and just watch what happens.😉

The year is almost over, and a new one is about to begin.

Now is when people start thinking about their new year's resolutions and what goals they will have for the upcoming new year. And I guarantee you a lot of those resolutions are limited because of past mistakes and thought processes.

We can't change our pasts, we can't undo mistakes, but we can absolutely learn from them and use those lessons to build a bigger and better future. To break the cycle, you are stuck in is simple.

Just start.
Today.
Not next week.
Not after the New Year.
TODAY!

Attention Mama's struggling to teach multiplication!🚨

I was a Resource Math teacher before I started homeschooling and getting my kids to memorize their multiplication table had me like🥴

Fast forward to teaching my own kiddos and the struggle was real. I tried songs and games and It would feel like they had it one day and the next. You would think I never showed them a number before 🤦🏽‍♀️

So when reached out to me and asked me to try their multiplication program I jumped and on it.

And yall when I am telling you that I LOVE this program I mean I LOVE it! Mikey has never really cared for Math and he asks me to do every single day.

They were both able to not only learn multiplication problems but RETAIN the information. With the use of cute animated videos your children will be learning multiplication in no time!

Well Hello December!🎄

I have to tell you I have always been a decorate right after Thanksgiving type of person a day I would just shake my head at you decorate in November people!

But this year for some reason I just felt like pulling out the Christmas decorations early and my eyes have been opened!

I started decorating in Novmeber and didn't feel pressured or rushed. I just took my time and decorated more than I have in years! Now here it is December 1st and the house is all done and I'm ready to just focus on Christmas activities!

To all my November Christmas decorating people. I get it you. I see you and I happily join you!🙌🏽😂

Being a mom is the best reason you'll ever have to take care of yourself.

I know everyone talks about self-care and how important it is. And I can't tell you how many moms I talk to who admit it's important and immediately follow it with a "but."

But if I stop, everything falls apart.

But I feel guilty for wanting to take a break.

But there's too much to be done to step away.

I've heard them all; I've used them all. And I get them all.

And none of them matter. You know why? Because the work never stops. We aren't offices or stores that close down for the evening.

There will always be tantrums, dirty clothes, hungry bellies (who are starving but don't want to eat what you cooked🤦🏽‍♀️)

You know when it stops? When you do. Hit the pause button and go for a walk. Read a book. Have a girl's night. Whatever will recharge your battery.

And then come back and hit play. And you'll be surprised at how patiently you're able to handle the mural your child drew on the wall for you while you were gone😜😂
