Once a month, I meet with the incredible women of , and this morning we took a deep dive into all things ✨PERFECTIONISM✨.

This topic is truly the challenge of my life. Trying to stop letting perfection get in the way of progress in every area of my life is a daily practice. Sometimes that goal feels more like a steady crawl than a sprint, but hearing other female business owners echo the same sentiment was so encouraging.

Working in the social sphere makes the “curated” feed so enticing, but the truth is no one’s life looks that way 24/7, even the folks posting it. Showing up with the beauty, the raw and real, the truth of this messy life we are all living— that’s the good stuff. Even in an IG world that teaches us to keep it cute, the stats show that our communities are actually deeply craving vulnerability and truth as they scroll.

So here is a curated photo of myself, and the very real face of what I actually look like posting it two weeks later. They both are me, the girl constantly trying to learn and grow and find the beauty in all the versions. 🌟

Three years ago, I took the leap into entrepreneurship, and for the first time in my life I bet absolutely everything on myself. And let me tell you, that bet has resulted in the most beautiful payout. I have learned to trust my instincts, to embrace my confidence, to cultivate community, and that chasing your passions with fervor is the true key to happiness. ✨

Doors have swung open, opportunities have emerged in the most crucial moments, and every single step since has felt right. There have been hard days, but most moments I’m just overwhelmed by the rightness I have felt since the start of Sincerely Symone. What a gift to see so clearly that you are on the right path. 🥹

Grateful for the journey, the growth, and the all the lessons that remain ahead. Thankful is an understatement when I think of all the amazing clients that took a chance on me, my unwavering support system for knowing I could do it before I did, and this incredible community for cheering me on every step of the way. Here’s to continuing to bet on each other and most importantly, to continue betting on ourselves.

We moved to nearly three years ago! 😮

After over a decade away from Thurston County, it has been such an amazing experience to explore the area again. Although I went to elementary school literally five miles from our house, my husband () is not from the area. His fresh perspective has been such a treat in seeing our home through his lens as we adventure through new restaurants and sights. 🙌🏼

When I saw this photo of myself I instantly had to swallow the large lump that suddenly appeared in my throat. 🥹

That girl, well she looks powerful. She looks assured. She looks brave. She looks like the women I have absolutely clawed my way to becoming for the the last five years. And seeing her standing there in that power, well…😭

Nurturing this business has given me the utter gift of rebirth. Many of you know, for the last five years we have been battling to become parents. Although I have yet to carry our child, I have found myself amazed by all the things I have carried to full-term.

I created life in this business, making a space filled with purpose and passion and community. I tend to my relationships with newfound joy, growing them into fulfilling and magical areas for growth and acceptance. I have lovingly nourished myself into a season of self-assurance and newfound peace. 🤍🤍🤍

It might not have been the birth I imagined, but it is a new life so worthy of celebration.✨
