SHOW UPDATE! Jopy are no longer able to support The Roebucks at the release show for 'Great British Pig' now. But we are absolutely delighted to announce that we have booked the wonderful Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou to step into the breach!

Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou met while students at London’s Goldsmiths College and immediately forged a songwriting duo which has since gone on to release six studio albums.

The first, in their guise as leaders of the pioneering new-bluegrass band Indigo Moss, was released in 2007, before continuing to perform as a duo.

They have been signed to seminal labels, Big Life, Loose, Heavenly and Ethan Johns’ Three Crows Records, Johns having produced their 4th studio album, Expatriot.

They have enjoyed critical acclaim across the board, from NME to The Guardian, and toured extensively in the UK, Europe and USA, alongside the likes of Ron Sexsmith, Tori Amos, Louden Wainwright, Beth Orton, Jools Holland and many more, and performed on main stages at Glastonbury (Acoustic Stage), Secret Garden Party, Green Man and Truck. The duo are playing UK Americana Music Week on Weds 22nd January if you want to catch them sooner.

It's gonna be a lovely old night on the 7th Feb - it's free and you can even have your tea at The Hope & Ruin before the music starts x

GOO SHOW ALERT. We are excited to announce that we are bringing Jopy Music back to Brighton for a headline show at The Green Door Store on Thursday 27th February. This is to tie in with a brand new Jopy single release, details of which will be revealed soon. She might have been away for a little while, but she has been writing some absolute bangers, some of which you might well get to hear on the night.

We've also lined up two high quality support bands.
From Brighton - Lemonsuckr.wav (formerly known as Rugrat) are a band we've been following (and not just because two of them are also in Owners Club!) that are very much on the rise, thanks to their intense, rabble-rousing, shabby suited mash up of alt-punk guitars and glacial electronics.
From London - King of May are a five piece whose recent 'Oh Mistake!' EP has been on the Goo stereo a lot lately. Expect whipsmart punk pop gems with hooks galore that has us in mind of the best of Slumberland Records.
Tickets are £8 in advance from SEE TICKETS but early bird tickets are currently available at a bargain £6.
