Escapism bor(ed)n out of lockdown
Julia and Luisa met two years ago at an ‘inspiring women’ event in the National Liberal Club, after Luisa had been newly elected as a local councillor in Camden. Julia became Luisa’s mentor later that year and they soon developed a firm friendship - finding common ground in feminism, fashion sense and their political values. Today both of them are London councillors, hailing from the North and the South. In this podcast, they discuss everything from their lockdown winners and losers to the perils of online dating and what they are watching and reading while staying inside. The one thing they can’t talk about is the ‘C’ word. Expect to hear them laughing a lot.
