Tropical Storm Ida has formed

From tropical wave to tropical depression and now tropical storm, all in a day, Tropical Storm Ida formed this afternoon 160km (100 miles) west-southwest of Negril Point. Although beginning to move away, it will continue to produce rainfall over Jamaica into Friday.
