You're ALL getting an Instagram link sticker!! Woohoo. 🥳👏🏻 Epic news just announced by Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram. Link stickers replace the previous swipe up feature, historically reserved for verified accounts and/or those with 10k+ followers. Now EVERYONE will have the feature!!

❝Today, we’re launching the new Link Sticker 🔗 globally. This allows anyone, regardless of follower count, to easily share links in a story.

There's a lot you can do to SECURE and protect your accounts. And, it is possible to get help and get your Facebook back. With my own hacking incident, the scammers somehow added themselves to my Business Manager, demoted me and my Admins, and promptly started running scam ads. Thankfully, the Facebook AI caught the shenanigans in time and shut down my ad account before any money was spent.

Scammers got in to my friend Molly Mahoney's Business Manager and ran up $20k of scam ads! 😫 Yikes. Fortunately she got most all of that back quickly, but she's still dealing with the aftermath. Adryenn Ashley had a very similar situation and the hackers took control of her page and started posting junk videos. The list goes on. It blows my mind how much nefarious activity - just in the hacking arena - happens on Facebook with no accountability. 😢

I was fortunate to regain control of my Business Manager and Ad Account within 48 hours. But this is somewhat rare. As you likely know, Facebook is not known for its customer support and it's practically impossible for most users to speak with a human. So, I've put a ton of research into this mega post with steps and solutions to help regain control of your accounts and to hopefully prevent any hacking incidents from ever happening (again)!!

It's a thorough and insightful report by Socialinsider + Wave.video. With contributions by yours truly and friends. Check out these four major takeaways:

1️⃣ Facebook Live video use has increased from 12% in 2020 to almost 19% this year.
2️⃣ Videos get a CTR (click-through-rate) of almost 30% for small accounts (on organic or paid video posts)
3️⃣ VERTICAL videos are the most used format (woa, right?!! 📱😳)
4️⃣ Captions shorter than 10 words drive greater engagement (but definitely test for your Page!)

Consider Google as a for millions of users ...so why wouldn’t you have a GMB listing?
Each single local business should have a Google My Business (GMB) account to ensure you have the big browser engine covered for your digital marketing.

Our top tips would be:

1. Claim your GMB listing and make sure the business profile is completed in full - ensure that you include key words that people use when searching for your business in your business description

2. Upload new photos of your business activity regularly

3. Post regularly on GMB (just like you would a FB post) which should include photos, videos and current offers, products & events.

4. Reviews - respond to them all, good & bad, as quickly as possible.

5. You should also consider setting up messaging, if you have the resources to be able to respond promptly.
