Seems like some of you should go back and listen to Edwin and Joel! I have an interesting episode in the pipeline featuring Krishna Adrianto Pribadi with stories of data-driven health, motorcycle racing, and spot bonuses from Elon.

I make a podcast called It's Not Rocket Science. I chat with interesting people formerly employed at SpaceX. So far, we've talked about sailing, curling, climate change, AI, personal submarines, lattes, flyover states, entrepreneurship, work-life balance, imposture syndrome, learning from failure, resume building, and even rockets.

It's not clear to me any more how people find things on the internet. I think it's through personal connection. So please share the existence of my podcast It's Not Rocket Science with anyone you know who might be interested in...well...anything that comes up when smart, creative people discuss their lives.

What do you do with 20-m-tall saline mist delivery system? You cool the desert and turn it into farmland.

Paul Mahacek and his company AtmoCooling believe that "climate is the best thing that we can hand down to future generations," and they're getting started in the UAE.

Check out Paul's trajectory from the 4-H in California's central valley, to Antarctica, France, Kwajalein, and Abu Dhabi.

Paul claims to suffer from impostor syndrome just like the rest of us, but it seems less justified when you listen to what he's achieved.

"The walls were vibrating inside the building at Hawthorne."

Starship and Super Heavy recycled faster than I did, but I'm editing an interview with exXer Paul Mahacek for release in the coming days. Paul pivoted from space tech to climate tech and founded Atmo Cooling, working to green the desert. https://www.atmocooling.com/

"So that's how I got hired. And then I think two days later you actually sent me to Waco because there was a engine controller on the stand that needed some debug." - JD Brinton

I wonder what this view is like now. Shot on 5/16/2007 from the F9 stage test stand in McGregor, TX.

Thanks for all the interaction on the recent episodes of It's Not Rocket Science. Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

If I could get any interview (other than Elon), who would you want to hear from?

"I went back to the scene and there were shrapnel in the back of my laptop. So the laptop had protected the shrapnel from going in my body. It wasn't much. I think it was maybe just some screws or something like that."

With the SpaceX StarShip test flight 3 launch license acquired and the lambs roasting, it's time for It's Not Rocket Science episode 5.

I had an awesome discussion with my friend JD Brinton, during which he admitted to licking the Falcon 1, successfully failing his first interview at XCOR, returning money to investors, being a kind, awkward, helpful human, surviving an engine explosion ("my laptop protected me from the shrapnel"), and falling asleep each night being educated by AI. I learn a lot from people, and Joel was no exception.

Check it out, pass it on, and make suggestions.

As they say...the link is in the comments.

"The humans you put on this side of the equal sign directly impact the ideas that can come out of the other side of the equal sign."

Unicorn Herder and serial entrepeneur Dolly Singh delivers some sharp insights into early SpaceX culture, creating high-performance teams, the benefits of neurodiveristy, feminism, sustainable entrepreneurship, and using technology to heal America.
