Have you heard about the latest craze? If you're Italian, you fully recognize what we're talking about.
They're back.

In the midst of World War II, servicemen brought these distinctive bracelets to America as presents for their lovers and spouses. The unique pendants, which at the time featured the flags of the numerous nations the soldiers had traveled to, quickly rose to popularity as an exotic display and a true must-have on the wrists of US ladies. They also became more popular as a fe**sh or sweet souvenir of a vacation to Italy during peak tourist season.

From catwalks to streets, the trend of flashing intimate apparel has become popular.
The visible underwear trend is massive, audacious, and gorgeous.
Granny pants came back in 2022, especially in street style, and they don't seem to be slowing down.

Today's female performers, including Dua Lipa and Megan thee Stallion, who performed wearing bustiers by Mugler and Schiaparelli, have supported the trend of overt underwear.

Is visible underwear still going to be a big trend in 2024?

The latest trendy accessory for SS22/23 is the balaclava.

Names like Martin Margiela have been producing collections with face covers since the late 1980s, and before that in 1967 Calvin Klein was already talking about it.

Today, however, it is a FAD, something that gains popularity quickly and can fade away just as quickly.
Examples could also be hairstyles, shapes or make-up trends. Just remember that they are fleeting.

The fashion of 2024 will in fact no longer focus on balaclavas and we will see new fashion solutions to combat the cold.
