In October 2021 my best friend Bryan was nearly killed when an 18-wheeler crashed into his car. He landed in the ICU for two weeks with 14 broken ribs, a shattered clavicle and a collapsed lung, but the biggest pain was his shattered running streak of 2138 days.

Following an outpouring from the running community, people from all over the world donating their own miles from their respective streaks to keep him going until he picked it up again, which he did in January.

Now at day 2158, Bryan shares his story of how sheer grit, and a dose of determination, put him back on track. You will truly have NO EXCUSES not to lace up after hearing his story!

John decided to run his first ultra, The Barkley Fall Classic, back in 2017 and hasn't looked back since!

Penny's high school track coach said "no" to her running cross-country so, 50 years later, Penny said "yes" to ultra running!

She's been running and competing for decades, but a new love for running was unleashed three years ago when she completed her first ultra. Always looking for the next challenge, Penny is about to compete in a grueling 50k, AND is preparing for her first 100 miler in June, at the age of 70!

Her passion for the sport and community of ultra running comes through loud and clear!

I recently had the honor of talking with Wally Hesseltine and WOW! At the age of 78, he has completed 211 ultras, 56 marathons and maintained a racing streak of running at least one race per month since September 1981! That streak now stands at 580 and it's not stopping any time soon! I had so much fun talking with him! Hope you enjoy it!
