African child
Do not hesitate to speak Leo
Say something not to tarnish
But bring you honour
Let your drum-beat sing Valor
Not your strength portray minor
If they ask "who are you"
Tell them like the champion you are
I am an African child
Skin so rich on it kind
Voice so deep far from mild
Traveled far into the forest far so wild
Toiled deep the soil of many kind
Swimmed deep into the rivers,rivers of pain that left those scars
Scars that reminds you who you truly are.an African child
Tell them African land is far from barren
Her river's fishes so massive,just like the mother nature herself
Her impregnable wisdom nshe birthed through bher child
In different complexion but same heritage
African child I am and will always be!
