✈️New Domestic and International Travel Requirements Coming in 2025✈️

Also - check your passport expiration date if you have international travel plans coming up!

Domestic Travel within the United States:

• REAL ID Enforcement: Beginning May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or an alternative acceptable form of identification, such as a passport, to board domestic flights or access certain federal facilities. This initiative aims to enhance security by ensuring that all state-issued IDs meet federal standards.

International Travel:

• United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA): Starting January 8, 2025, travelers to the UK, including those from the U.S., will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). Applications can be submitted online or via a mobile app for a fee of £10 (approximately $12.40). Once approved, the ETA is valid for multiple entries over a two-year period. This system is designed to enhance border security and streamline the entry process.

• European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS): Expected to take effect in May 2025, ETIAS will require U.S. citizens and travelers from other visa-exempt countries to obtain travel authorization before visiting any Schengen Area country. The authorization will allow for multiple short stays (up to 90 days within a 180-day period) and will be valid for three years or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever comes first. The application process involves a fee of €7 (approximately $7.50).

One of my favorite things about diving is descending below the waves and leaving the noise and chaos of the world above behind. For a brief moment, nothing else matters and I find peace and calmness in the ocean. 🩵🌊

This was a fun last minute decision dive! I caught the water sports team just as they were packing up for the evening and jumped in on a dive for the next morning at MUSA! 🤗

The MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) underwater museum in Cancun features over 500 life-sized sculptures submerged in the crystal-clear waters between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Created to promote coral growth and provide shelter for marine life, it’s a unique diving and snorkeling experience that blends art with conservation. 🪸🐠

Surface waters can be a little choppy here and the current a bit fast so stronger swimmers are recommended for snorkeling. For divers, keep an eye out for small sharks, big rays and even the occasional shy octopus. 🐙

About last week! The CX Xcite 2024 conference was nothing short of amazing! It was incredible to see everyone’s flexibility and commitment to making the most out of every moment, especially with a hurricane overhead. We had many opportunities to network and collaborate with industry partners, reconnect with old friends, and meet new ones.

The afternoon aboard the catamaran is always guaranteed to be a fun day and this year didn’t disappoint. Nothing like some sunshine and great entertainment out on the ocean to start the day.

The Pink Event was a beautiful way to honor Elaine’s Legacy fundraising initiative and support breast cancer awareness. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone come together for such an important cause and fun night! Collectively we raised enough for 100 free mammograms and at least $10,000 in treatments, counseling, food delivery, rides to treatments etc. through the Creer Foundation in Mexico.

Thank you to the CX team and our travel partners who poured their hearts into making this year’s conference successful and memorable.

Often times I get asked if there’s any particular photo a couple should make sure they get on their wedding day that they didn’t think of. Yes!👇🏼

I don’t care if you have 4 people in it, or 400 people in it. Give the photographer a heads up that you want a group photo and make it happen. You won’t regret it. It might just end up being one of your favorites down the road. 🫶🏼

There are SO many parts of planning a DW that I love. But my Top 3 are:

• The friendships made over the course of 1-2 years from planning such a special event. We’re basically family by the end of it whether you like it or not. 😉

• Reducing unnecessary stress for the couple when it comes to their guests’ travel arrangements, questions and opinions. ( ! 😂)

• That first post-wedding text/photo. 🤩
