Native Vs Scheduled posting…

You may remember last month on the podcast when I decided to post natively for 4 weeks to see if there was any difference in my engagement as opposed to scheduling using a 3rd party tool which may offend the Algorithm Gods.

My biggest take away is not forgetting to do that all-important engagement piece.

And not just with your current audience, finding new people to genuinely connect with and start building those relationships with.

I personally don't feel that posting natively or scheduling makes a lot of difference!

How do you feel about native vs scheduled posting?

How are you making people feel?

This is so true! 💯

This conversation gave me a lot to consider when it comes to having guests on my show. Automating plays a big part in this.

You need expensive equipment to start a podcast….

NOPE! Total myth!

I think that this is a big barrier when it comes to starting a podcast.

Yes, it is great to have the best mic and the best laptop…BUT in reality, these things are a nice to have.

Focus more on what you’re going to say.

📢 Are you honing in on what they want to hear?

How to stay consistent with your podcast:

✨ Planning

Whether it's a season or for 6/12 months - plan out your episode titles. Make sure you keep in mind your ideal client/listener when creating these.

✨ Get ahead with your guests

Do the research and book them in! Give yourself plenty of time to interview them and get all the editing and promotional material done.

✨ Keep in mind why you started your podcast

Are you creating the kind of content in your podcasts that's going to keep your audience engaged? Is it what they want to hear from you?
