This little guy is so stinkin cute oml. The plants are three little pups from my gasteria "little warty" and they're so adorable 🥺🫶🪴 I love this little giraffe pot and I'm so glad these guys are happy in it.

LEAF 🫶🪴✨
This massive leaf was from a huge philodendron jose buono cutting I had rooting in water! I just had to take pictures with it✨🪴
I'll definitely be drying this one to put in a frame.

Ever since I put this silver dragon corm in leca each new leaf is a surprise. It's hard to see, but they all have tiny flecks of white all over them, and the most recent one has a spot in the top left corner. I have a nearly identical plant that looks totally normal.
I'm not sure if it'll ever be more pronounced, but it's cool to see :)

Don't let the color fool you, these two leaves are from the SAME PLANT! Melanochrysum- much like many other plants, has leaves that emerge as a beautiful red, and slowly change over to that deep, velvety green that we all love✨

This is because the new leaves are pumped with sugar as they emerge to fuel their relatively rapid growth. This sugar is often converted to a vacuolar pigment called anthocyanin. Depending on the ph, anthocyanins can be red, purple, blue, or even black. They help protect the photosynthetic portions of the plant cells by absorbing excess light!

Maaaan plants are crazy. Gotta love em ❤️🌿

Coffee + plants is the best ways get through the morning ✨🌱

This is one of my fav mugs cuz it looks like a little plant pot 🪴I got it from a patio event at this past summer. My sister and I went together and they had free wine and soups to try, along with door prizes! It was super fun 🥰 I’ll def be keeping an eye out for more summer patio events!

This Monstera standleyana was SO PRETTY! It wasn’t labeled as an aurea, but the coloration on the leaves feels like it might be!
No matter how it was labeled, I was totally blown away by the variegation 🤩🪴✨

Check out this sport mutated mum flower! A “sport” in the plant world is a genetic mutation that results from a faulty chromosomal replication, resulting in a portion of the plant that is physically AND genetically different from the parent plant.
Sport mutations aren’t a result of growing conditions, they’re typically a total accident! (With the odds of the mutation occurring being roughly 1/100,000!!!) And in some cases this accidental mutation can be passed along to offspring. This same mechanism is how we have variegated plants like monstera albo or philodendron pink princess!

It’s pretty neat if you ask me ☺️
