One of my guilty pleasures this last year, has been treating myself to good Black Theater. I have seen some amazing works right here in the city of Detroit.

I'm thrilled to share some incredible news with you all! Plowshares Theatre Company is bringing "The House that Will Not Stand" by Marcus Gardley to Detroit! As you know, I'm a huge supporter of Plowshares Theatre Company and their commitment to showcasing diverse and powerful narratives.

Set in 1800s New Orleans, this emotionally gripping play dives into themes of race, power, and desire. It's a story that resonates deeply, especially in today's world. It highlights the poignant truth that "freedom ain't free."
